Character Names: I play Michael Asar, most of you will know him as a Dominian priest, I am also working on a human by the name of Ashlyn Kiefer
Species you are applying to play: Skrell (Xiiori ancestry)
What color do you plan on making your first alien character: Red

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question.

Why do you wish to play this specific race:
To experience more cultures and lore within this amazing ss13 server, and I genuinely just like Skrell as a species. They are a super diverse bunch and genuinely just look like good sociable individuals. 

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:
The fact you can use telepathy and have completely different social customs and such makes Skrell unique to the point they haven't even developed genders in their societies, Skrellans are also like the elves in dungeons and dragons, much older.

Character Name: TBD (i don't have a name for him yet, hopefully he will be a bridge crew or something)
Please provide a short backstory for this character
He is a F'ex'Tra (basically male) Skrell with predominantly Xiiori ancestry, growing up in relative poor conditions, he was one of the uncredited labourers in Skrell society, he started the same any Skrell born in the federation did, as a egg in scuttle schooling, he was quite curious and inquisitive as he grew, and one of his first jobs in the federation was being a factory worker, he did however love the job, but always wanted something more, gazing at the stars so many times in his life, he eventually took a trip to a station in orbit of his homeworld, and he loved it. He was very sociable ad fairly quickly joined Stellar Corporate Conglomerate, eager at the prospect of space, he fairly quickly got assigned to Horizon

He is a very friendly person, who doesn't mind species or religion. He's always happy to meet and speak to new potential friends on horizon, he is a rather humble fellow, who understands his culture is different, and some people won't be okay with that, but regardless he remains humble, and he treats every co-worker like he's in a Skrell Qu'Kaax relationship (very treasured co-workers, yes I studied lore) he is very eager to do his job and perform well, but at the same time understands the importance of socialization and friendship at work, he will be a great co-worker and a great friend
What do you like about this character: His humility and sociability among others

How would you rate your role-playing ability: I can roleplay quite well, I'm fairly new to aurora station but I'm here to grow and enjoy all the lore this server has, it truly is amazing.

Notes: Fairly new to aurorastation, but I love this place.

Hi, thanks for applying.

I've been told that you've just joined the server today. Unfortunately, we expect a bit of playtime before we consider applications, so I'll have to deny it this time around based on that alone. I've skimmed your application and while I won't be giving feedback on it now, I'd recommend looking at other applications in the archives and looking at what we typically ask and what we expect of whitelist applications. I'd also recommend reading the wiki pages on the species as well as the skrell update channel on the lore discord to get up to date with the latest events.

Play on the server for around a week minimum (this doesn't mean play for a week straight or get a week's worth of playtime) and then reapply. Again, I'm denying this solely on playtime alone and not the quality of the application.
