They acted on orders of the Captain to carry out the collection of my identification card and arrest, which they are to answer to and I respect this. Time of Incident: Around 2100 Shift Time? Real Time: 6th of August, 2024 / Between 0000-0100 CEST Location of Incident: The Research Director's Office, the Brig / the Brig Holding Cells Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [X] - Harassment(?) [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [X] - Illegal Detention, Arrest, or Holding [X] - Exceeding Official Powers Overview of the Incident: Close to the end of the aforementioned ship, I came up from the living quarters and was quickly briefed on the ongoing situation and overall ship status. I've initiated a conversation with the ship's primary Intelligence at the time, that namely being BUDDY - asking them whether or not they were busy, as I wanted to get more information on the current situation. They explicitly, as seen in the PDA conversation with them, told me that they were currently aiding the Captain - after asking the simple question of what they're aiding with, they've given me the rather rogue and unusual reply of it being sensitive, likely having been told by the Captain not to forward any information, as otherwise the Unit would not do such things. I was then told the Captain would tell me in-person, which respectfully never happened. I went to security briefly, talking to some Officers, when the Captain told me that they'll be entering my department as they need something, questioning them about their needs as I was both suspicious and trying to help, they did not reply to me and then rudely dismiss me (see radio server logs for reference, which I could not get my hands on without being in conflict with regulations). Being ordered to leave Interrogation by the Captain, I first hesitated but finally obliged with the order and returned to Research and Development. Upon entering my office after my return, I noticed that my computer has been accessed, the chemical codex specifically was opened up. Prying the Intelligence for information, they told me it was to aid in the production of chemicals, and that the Captain told them not to discuss anything further than that (see: attached PDA log for reference). Given all of this, to gain more clarity, I wanted to inform Conglomerate Central Command, with the exact fax attached to this Incident Report, that the Investigator provided to me after my arrest - as I shredded the original after sending them copies. Upon wanting to send this report, the Captain with two Officers barged into my office, retrieving my ID card, suspending me, holding me in my office while searching for my fax copies - which gladly they did not find - and then further getting me arrested for Sedition after my conversation with the Head of Security (see: attached PDA log for reference). [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: The Head of Security, though it was the Captain ordering the arrest of myself. Actions taken: None. Additional Notes: As an OOC Note, this was an antagonist round. Though I talked with Bear about this and it's still on the edge on whether or not this will be binned, as the direct antagonist involvement in relation to the actions taken was minimal. Leave it here until that's cleared up, I was told I can submit it anyway for the time being. It's being looked into and a decision is being made on what will happen with it. Link to comment
