Why do you wish to play this specific race: i want to hiss at people

I want to expand my RP, i like the way Unathi are played, the way they behave and id like to try playing one myself. Their mannerisms interest me.

I want to devour live monkeys Their diet of mainly meat i also find interesting. I can have a different type of RP with other Unathi's. I also feel i can create an interesting character and backstory that i will enjoy writing and RPing with.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:

They have a different culture, they speak differently, they have cold blood, there are lots of differences i could list but their culture is the biggest. When they feel emotions they dont display them like a human would, They show affection in different ways and also have different beliefs then those of a human.

Character Name: S'sakisai Azasilia

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

S'sakisai is an honorable Unathi, he is 6"7, has black scales and is currently a NanoTrasen engineer. His early years were not happy, full of pain. His father died when he was but a hatchling. He hatched in 2430 in Skalamar, the second largest city of the Izweski Nation, His father was of a smaller clan. He remembers little of the first contact with the Sol Alliance in 2433.

He lost almost all of his family during the contact war, He and his older sister were the only survivors in his immediate family. And he spent the rest of his childhood alone, His education was not a pleasant experience for him. He did not stick around for his later life.

At the age of nineteen became the apprentice of an engineer, a private contractor, He spent eight years in his service, two years an apprentice, After many year of travelling and learning new cultures he wanted to find a more stable place of working, more consistent. It was after this he was approached by NanoTrasen to work aboard the NSS Aurora. Despite knowing little of this corporation he accepted this opportunity without hesitation, he still firmly believes in the tradition of the Unathi. He began his work aboard the NSS Aurora aged twenty seven.

He had begun what he hoped would be a long, happy career with NanoTrasen.

What do you like about this character?

I like his traditional ways, he hasent changed to suit others and always sticks to his beliefs. I like that he, in my opinion, will become a very interesting character and will be very fun to RP with.

How would you rate your role-playing ability?

Im the best damn Rper in the land As i say everytime its unfair to rate your own RP because you will /always/ be biased, i think my RP is good but that is for those i RP with to decide.
