Last_stand_crew Posted August 3 Posted August 3 I want to give to all subtitles of intern additional access that depends on their subtitle, you know: resident surgeon will gain access to operating theatre, paramedic trainee will gain access to paramedics dispatch office and so on, and also to give them access to morgue, why don't they have access there? it's jsut morgue, what's the big deal? The reason for this is simple: i know, that it's training role and logically you shoulda be supervised by a real team member, who has expirience in this field of work and can guide you if you don't know something, or done something wrong, but almost every low pop round i join as resident surgeon i have to break le door to the theatre or pray that at least a paramedic will come or captain, etc. but that's just ridiculous, every normal medic from team just gives guest pass because they know you need it, almost every time captain and chief med officer agrees to give additional access to your card, because you should have it, otherwise there may be a situation you lost a patient because had no damn access, or you couldn't take paramedic RIG to go in space, or you couldn't make chemicals, etc. etc. Quote

The solution to getting access is to leave the training role for the full role if you need it so badly. Quote
Shimmer Posted August 3 Posted August 3 The purpose of those training roles is for you to play alongside others who are taking the full role, so you can shadow and learn from them. Their purpose shouldn't be another extra role slot, they sort of exist in a limbo where you actually aren't allowed to play full on characters in those slots, because that isn't their purpose. It's a zero expectations zero responsibility role where you learn, then move on to the proper role after a week or two. 1 Quote

Fyni Posted Thursday at 16:25 Posted Thursday at 16:25 As was reiterated earlier today, med intern is a training role. I see no need to expand access even to areas where it "won't go wrong" since allowing interns into these areas is entirely as the discreation of full medical members and command. If you've played an intern for a long tiem, and are fed up of having access issues, honestly the solution is to just stop been an intern and promote your character. Quote
