There is a colony on a desert planet there, supposedly two factions there have broken out into warfare, the 'Loyalists' and the 'Modernists'. She did not hear more then this, but they had said it was an area to avoid, so that is something for everybody to note.

Supposedly, phoron trading happens at the station, which is also frequented by pirates. There is also some form of leadership structure there.

  8. This has happened in the past. Characters who have been arrested many times might eventually be fired by CCIA.
  9. Yes, perhaps if something like multiple piloting skill levels were added. well, in an emergency, maybe the miner *could* pilot the Horizon. They might struggle at it due to not having knowledge of such a large craft, and things may go wrong, but it may be better then no pilot at all.
  10. Couple of ideas for education additions some kinda pilot education that gives you piloting skill + some others? Some low level engineering stuff for basic stuff in the shuttles a pilot would be expected to do? Corpo trained sec officer education. Similar to police academy but some stuff a bit different? Stuff can also be a bit rough for some heads like OM. One with the finance background for example uses up ALL of their occupational points on piloting.
  11. I don't think NT can get into Engineering as that is already in 3 departments (service, med and sci), and with the ruling that a corp can only be in 3 departments, that would not be too possible... Orion express, however?
  12. One idea came up on the discord of allowing officers to pick their sidearm in some way. Making it similar to the token miners get could be interesting, they insert a token into a vending machine and can pick which sidearm they receive between a pistol and a revolver. The option of a taser as a third selection could also be interesting.

  14. I recall the armory on the Aurora was split in two? I think it was LTL and lethal?
  15. A return to having the .45 pistol and the taser gun would be interesting to see.
  16. In regards to the payment system changes, info on the programs that an order was paid for by department account rather then the person's own account would be useful. It currently still says it is paid for by X person even if the departmental payment is used.
  17. The ability to cancel approved but unshipped orders could be useful. Maybe with a cancellation fee or needing OM/captain access.
  18. The latter question is interesting. If a character was arrested for something, 20 years passing could well mean their sentence has passed. That or they escaped from prison in the fall of Biesel etc.
  19. Maybe a combination of making all batteries last 1.5x long, and character PDAs starting between 70 and 100% charge?
  20. I do wonder how the combat and medical changes planned for NBT2 will affect stuff like point-blank shots
  21. I imagine rich/posh characters would be harder since we're on some random ship that isn't as fancy as the Horizon, the flagship of the SCC is? What kinda avenues might there be?
