:AUTO-MOD: Discussion automatically opened for: OE Mining Contract Vote. Scheduled for August 12th @ 11pm. Remember to keep conversation civil. For joining voting blocs, see here.

:cyn1c41: He got to read the contract yesterday. Seems fine. Council gets money for making equipment Orion gets miners from training. Win win. He uploaded the first page if you want to read it. Or be lame he doesn’t care.
:USER_UPLOAD>>030624671991.NTI

:0V3R: WTF no way the manufarts will accept that deal. Those rafamas always complain about orders and now OE wants to stack this on them?? 100% getting nay’d out the door unless somehow the manufacturers suddenly want more stuff to complain about

:W1SSE: The revenue might win the votes. They all complain about the credits but would clamour for this for their precious “refits”

:C0untry: Better question is if the traditionalists will let miners leave. You saw how pissy they got when the last group went off-world for those UMA Vysokans mines

:R341: Nah real question is OE lol. They might be like “oh ugh Human greed” or w/e. UMA has the ball on this but they’re silent lol

:M1nD3r: Think Orion will be fine. It’s all new or whatever. Hephaestus seems too stuffed up with Unathi and UMA would throw a hissy fit. OE is like perfect in between

:Offtune: Who cares man. Sometimes Himeo needs to get over itself lol. Heph money is mega massive but if OE is what we have it’s what he have

:M1nD3r: Don’t have it yet. Wait for the vote.

:0V3R: Debates happened today. What do you know, same shit everytime. Trad bloc bitched about corporate creeping in. They do this to the syndis too. There is literally no winning

:Sunnyside: They’re the reason we’re going to fall apart Messa bless

:cyn1c41: So the actual details were about the revenue. The equipment would bring in like 10% more than what we get rn. Production would have to jump though. Might be worth but it’s super risky

:W1SSE: WDYM risky 10% up is still 5 mil. We might actually get to expand the district with that money like Malikahraq said

:m1n1: Where are you getting your numbers??? It’d be like 500k more lol. Maybe enough to reno the train station or whatever since that shit is falling apart

:Hashim: Bro who cares about the train station. We need more homes. 500k could easily get like 3 new tunnels out plus it’d be totally at least 1 mil. You seen how much we make? Easy mil

:AR004: Could also hdk check the numbers??? Like ask what the month intake is on it and THEN decide duh

:r4f4m4: HOW DO YOU THINK 500K IS ENOUGH FOR 3 TUNNEL LHFTO. THATS BARELY ENOUGH TO GET HALF A TUNNEL YOU PRE-HISTORIC SCHLORRGO

:Hashim: Bro chill tf out.

:Message deleted by user:

:r4f4m4: “JUST TAKE FROM HIMEO” YEAH RIGHT TRY GROWING A BRAIN THAT IS IN THE MILLIONS JUST LOOK AT HIMEO’S BUDGET LHFTO. YOU KNOW NOTHING GO BACK TO YOUR BARREL TO ROT

:A-LINE: Look he’s with the miner’s bloc on this one. Sounds like a sweet deal. They just want to mine who tf cares if it’s off-world or corporate. Maybe we can get stuff done with the money. The manufacts can deal with the orders that’s literally their entire job. Vote them out if they suck at it lol

:Sunnyside: How TF did this stall man. Sometimes this stuff is unbearable

:free1: would u rthr god-emporer hadii or whatever choose 4 u. mindrotten takes tdy fr

:W1SSE: Can you type like a normal person?

:Hashim: It was literally just delaying for contract rewrite everyone needs to calm down

:W1SSE: Whats new w/ it anyways

:cyn1c4l: manufacts complaining bsclly. more money for equipment, but we pay for mining equipment. kinda dumb but whatever

:cyn1c4l: To be precise, we pay training costs and pay for the equipment since Miner’s Council is under us and they’re handling those costs. Kinda dumb

:W1SSE: wait so what’s the point. we get less??

:A-LINE: More revenue. Training and equipment or whatever is cheap compared to rev bump. Plus this might lead to us getting minerals for production later on.

:m1n1: How very forward thinking of you. Such a sage in our presence lol. Who came up with the changes anyways??

:0V3R: Qaratul’makraj. Claimed it was more “fair” and “equal” and got the trad vote

:Sunnyside: THE TRAD VOTE ACCEPTED THAT???? There might be a chance this actually goes through bless messa

:AR004: nfw youre bringing messa into this lol

:Sunnyside: you’re*

:AR004: Fall on the tracks why don’t you

:FR33L1N3: The next vote is 16/8. This discussion is getting too hostile for such a basic measure. Get off the computer, go to a bar and calm down. The updated contract details are below. Locking the threat for 12 hours.

Moderator statement:
Contract Details are as follows:

Orion Express is permitted to employ up to 10% of newly trained miners with the Miner’s Workcouncil per quarter. All equipment for training is at the cost of the Miner’s Workcouncil, with minor discounts as determined by contract.

OE guarantees 2 manufacturing orders for equipment each month. The HIM Workcouncil forecasts a 10% increase in revenue based on provided OE figures.

The last vote on 12/8 resulted in 72%-28% vote to stall the measure. Presidia Hardyrnh rescheduled for 16/8 @ 3pm.
