K’marr Captured in Abandoned Outpost 21.10.2468 Rhaza-Akhran Alexeii K’marr was spotted outside of the Din’akk days ago within a small village by the border. Since then, the ALA has been on high alert in search of the fleeing suspect. The search brought much needed trooper presence back to the largely abandoned region. Locals have lamented the banditry seen in absence of a proper armed force, with militias wearing thin and already scant supplies failing to reach villages and towns local solutions were simply unachievable. One notable bandit organization was entirely wiped out by what has been confirmed as Stellar Corporate Conglomerate actions in Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal’s territory. While in some ways its abhorrent acts and abuse on locals must be condemned, the consequences of their operations have assisted the investigation committee looking into Rhaza-Akhran K’marr’s actions in finding the man himself. The capture occurred in an abandoned outpost near the border of the Din’akk. The base was in total disrepair. Despite this, supplies left over from what can only be assumed was a hasty departure found use with local bandits. ALA troopers found the base as a total bloodbath, ransacked by SCC soldiers. Leftover supplies and machinery were discovered nearby. Despite this, no bodies were found at the site. What was found, however, was Alexeii K’marr and an escort of 2 individuals. Upon discovery, an intense firefight occurred between ALA troopers and the escorts. ALA troopers took the upperhand thanks to the total disrepair of the outpost’s defences. Alexeii K’marr had laid down arms and surrendered when the escorts were dispatched. Troopers made an arrest and escorted the Rhaza-Akhran to the nearest active outpost to hand over to the investigation committee. As reported by the committee, current plans are for Rhaza-Akhran K’marr to be transferred to a detention facility in Shastar City. Given the claims at hand, a request to strip K’marr of his authority has been filed. The National Assembly had a variety of voices speak up on the matter. President Almrah Harrlala praised the ALA troopers involved in the capture of K’marr, further stating that she will respect any conclusion made by the investigation committee. Ex-interim President Nrajrr Alnadruskiy was furious. He condemned the troopers' actions, claiming they disrespected a superior in their conduct, even if such superior was under investigation. He went on to demand K’marr be released until the investigation concludes. Commander Kyff Hotak supported this call, alongside Rhaza-Akhran Ahem and Representative Maksym Razin. In direct opposition, Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk demanded further action be taken against K’marr on account of the charges being levied. The Assembly fell into disarray following the claims from both sides, and was shortly concluded by President Almrah Harrlala alongside Supreme Command Halkiikijr Nated'Hakhan. K’marr Spotted Nearby Din’akk Border! 17.10.2468 Little word has come out of the Din’akk investigation committee since its arrival in the region weeks ago. Concerns regarding the minimal public messaging from both elected and investigatory officials have risen as the nation looks to the towering mountains of the Din’akk for what has been uncovered about Rhaza-Akhran Alexeii K’marr. Recent events have shed light onto why this committee has little to report. Just yesterday, residents of the border village Fahal Zav Khazan contacted the AJIC about a suspicious sighting. The former mining town is home to less than a hundred residents who support the local farming and forestry industry. Since the closure of the mine that it was once centered around, the village has fallen well out of interest, making the sighting of outsiders all the more serious. Following a rapid interview with multiple villagers, the AJIC concluded that Alexeii K’marr, alongside 2 other armed individuals, had raided the local bar in the dead of night. According to the local elder, off-worlders had visited the village some weeks ago. They assisted in repairs of the local radio station and schoolhouse, alongside clearing out nearby bandits who had been harassing the town. Among their actions was moving supplies into the bar. The details as to why seemed absent, according to the elder. However, they were insistent on leaving the supplies somewhere. The village was given its own stash of supplies from the corporates, so the rest of the villagers left the stock placed in the bar alone. The AJIC has released these details officially. All residents of Southern Harr’masir are recommended to be on the lookout for Alexeii K’marr and 2 other armed individuals. Do not engage. Report all sightings to the AJIC. Date: 10/10/2468 Horizon Location: Adhomai, S'rand'marr System Current Destination: Nearby Din'akk Border, Southern Harr'masir, Adhomai Horizon, The next, and hopefully last, stage of Operation Snow Sight has been approved. Based on all prior gathered data, and anecdotes by the SCCV Jaunter's pilot, the final location appears to be an abandoned outpost nearby the Din'akk border. It was a prior-used ALA border outpost that fell into disrepair after the war, however this does not mean it was stripped of supplies. It is believed that ALA equipment was left in the outpost during abandonment and may likely be the supplies utilized by the bandits to this point. With the tensions in the Din'akk, Muhr'fal aims to re-open the outpost. Our agreement is being tapped for this, so all repair efforts will be from our end. This does mean any destruction of the outpost caused by the fighting will need to be repaired. Resources will be reserved for rebuilding efforts if the Engineering department runs dry. Given the leads discovered by your teams last week, the clear focus for your efforts is the town of Fahal Zav Khazan. From what little logs the Adhomai Liberation Army was willing to pull for us, it's a small farming village nearby the border. Neither of the flanking border garrisons want to patrol it since it's just outside of their territories. It used to be bustling with its own local garrison before they were transferred elsewhere. Since then, the village has been on decline. It's not a far conclusion to see why bandits would set up nearby a declining frontier town without military support. It's worth a shot to see if the pilot and cargo of the Jaunter was taken here. Our humanitarian aid clause will be cashed in, however. The village is in need of a few things: Repairs to the town school house. Repairs to the town radio mast and station. Supplies transferred to the town storehouse. Rations Shelf-stable medical supplies 6.8mm ammunition Warm clothing Fresh food and drinks for the locals during the visit. This will be the secondary objective of this expedition. The primary objective, as expected, is to find out more information regarding these bandits and the Jaunter's pilot and cargo. Tomorrow’s Gate Sabotaged! Commissioning Delayed 1.10.2468 / 3626.3.32 Earlier today, a group of pirates assaulted Tomorrow’s Gate, the bluespace gate project currently in progress as a collaboration between our glorious Repbulic and the Stellar Corporate Conglomerate. The gate has been under construction for some years, plagued by the dissidents and enemies of the Party and Hadiism. Even as the Orbital Navy grows in size and capability, those who wish to see Tajara fail only attack harder. In President Hadii’s wisdom, a special task force was assigned to Tomorrow’s Gate to ensure its safeguarding during the final stages. During a scheduled return to port, the PRAMV Liberation of the People, a Sentinel-class carrier, was the sole vessel tasked with ensuring the safety of the gate while its compatriots were on return flight from the People’s Space Station. It was during this time that a pirate caravel attacked the gate. The ensuing battle was a fierce pitching of savage dissident barbarism and precise Hadiist voidcombat doctrine. The Sentinel-class is not a weak vessel. Indeed, it is capable of withstanding fire from multiple vessels for an entire battle. However, the pirates were not focusing on disabling the voidship, rather the symbol of Adhomai’s future in a continually interconnected Spur. The PRAMV Liberation of the People ultimately won out, disabling the caravel and boarding the vessel with P’kus-3 augmented Kosmostrelki. In the battle, however, Tomorrow’s Gate took damage to critical components that must be replaced. Adjacent to this battle, an affiliated pirate skiff attacked the NTV Cloud of Light, a NanoTrasen phoron tanker. While the PRAMV Liberation of the People was busy handling the larger pirate threat, a nearby SCC vessel took on the call to assist those in need. The SCCV Horizon, a Venator-class cruiser and flagship of the Stellar Corporate Conglomerate, heeded the call and valiantly fended off the dissidents. The SCC vessel had disabled the skiff, with assistance from an Orbital Navy fighter dispatched by the PRAMV Liberation of the People, and counter boarded the savage pirates aboard the NTV Cloud of Light. The brave SCC asset protection teams successfully recovered 2 hostages taken by the pirates, and subsequently shelled the NTV Cloud of Light to prevent its precious cargo from falling into dissident hands. With disruption of much needed phoron, and damage to critical componentry, the commissioning of Tomorrow’s Gate has been delayed. The Party will not give up on the gate, however. The SCCV Jaunter's location has been identified thanks to assistance from both local SCC assets and the Adhomai Liberation Army. It is roughly 20 kilometers from the nearest village, Fahal-Zav-Khazan. The latest ALA scout report is attached. Beyond this, there is little else we have at out disposal for what to expect. Riots in Southern Harr’masir! Is Muhr’fal fit to Lead? 02.09.2468 Southern Harr’masir has been thrown into turmoil in recent times with a series of unfortunate events. This year has been marked with unstable temperatures in the region and a reduction in grazing pasture health. Following weeks of storms early this season, the region has had chronic shortages of foodstock. In combination with the most recent escapades of the Din’akkiye and Amohdaiye Rhaza-Akhranra, Muhr’fal has been placed in the middle of two impossible problems to negotiate. Food shortages are not an unfamiliar issue, however Southern Harr’masir has remained a net exporter for food stuffs since its liberation. This has flopped this year as Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal elected to import Blizzard Ears and Earthen-Root from Amohda and Das’nrra. This has since sky-rocketed the cost of groceries in the region causing much dissent against the junta. Thus far, Muhr’fal has been able to contain most of these issues with careful navigation and shrewd negotiations with Mai’almtoka Melrhe’kaltra’n Shastar (Food Corporation of Shastar) to bring import costs down. On the opposite side of his territories, Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal has been placed into the difficult position of bordering the now accused Rhaza-Akhran K’marr of the Din’akk. Without sea connections, K’marr’s investigation has been forced to enter the Din’akk through the land border with Southern Harr’masir, a matter not preferable to Muhr’fal who remains distant from calls to action against the southern neighbor. Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk has not made this easy with threats of troopers being re-assigned to the Din’akk border against Muhr’fal’s will. As a result, Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal has restarted a recruitment drive within the region and called on local militia to assist in reinforcing the Din’akk border. With the re-activation of numerous installations, and the increase in military activities, local developments have been started much to the chagrin of regional ranchers. These factors remain manageable on their own, however in combination prove to be a stickler point for the Southern Harr’masir population. Complacency with the hands-off method of ruling Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal seems to employ has seen the rapid escalation of actions and political maneuvering leave a sour taste in the mouths of local ranchers already placed within a difficult position. The culmination of these woes has been seen in the S’ren’dul riots just yesterday. Thousands of Harr’masirii gathered on the streets of the city to protest, among many things, the supposed ‘conscription of militia’ and ‘corruption of freedoms’. The Rhaza-Akhran chose to leave these matters unaddressed until violence began to grow among the rioters prompting a crackdown by ALA troopers. President Harrlala has called an end to the riots and violence, expressing sympathies to the Southern Harr’masirii but affirming that Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk is only acting within his capabilities without the structure found by embracing the civilian apparatus. National Assembly Votes on Harrlala’s Plan 29.07.2468 A proposal to see an end to the accusations levied by Rhaza-Akhranra Rahman Hadjuk and Alexeii K’marr has sat within the National Assembly for some time without further consideration. The proposal details an action plan to form an investigative committee for the neutral and thorough investigation of smuggling and disloyalty to the liberation accused by Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk against Rhaza-Akhran K’marr, as well as the accusation of disloyalty to the liberation accused by K’marr against Hadjuk. Ancillary claims, namely the implied actions of Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal in the intentional addition of illegal goods into Din’akk-sourced shipments, or the negligence thereof, have yet to be included in the proposal. This is in hopes to clarify vessel intent for a more cohesive and forward-thinking strategy.
