Right now outside of offships, faction hardsuits are generally found in two places, group loadout kits usually only seen used in mercs, and operatives (with a bunch of their exclusive very powerful ninja modules). So I propose making them available in the uplink as standalone items for 8-10 TC (Enough to buy a solo loadout crate to get the rest of the factions signature gear). This would make hardsuits get used more, and make it easier to get good faction based armor for the many groups that don't have non-voidsuit armor. 

If people approve this I can make the PR for it, but the way I see this done would either be making these suits 8-10 TC for the equipped version seen in group loadouts (Weaker then ninja versions). Or to make them cost BC/TC like the nanotrasen suit, for empty versions, while making more modules available in the uplink.

This would be a pretty big change to what gear is seen in antag rounds, and there might be some balance concerns. So making a feedback thread here first.

I generally would like to see hardsuits in use more often. Empty hardsuits aren't that powerful and I'd like to see people parading around in them. Also, their modularity here could probably be offset by the cost of worthwhile modules (that and not all hardsuits accept the same ones; speaking of, to the person who came up with the mechanics examine thing, add that to hardsuit modules pls).

Anyways, ill probably be making the PR in the next few days if no major objections come up.
 

How it looks like its gonna go is:
8 BC/TC (same as NT hardsuit) for empty versions of all the standard combat hardsuits, which are essentially just faction reskins of each other. Heavy armor in hardsuit form basically.

10 (TC only) for those suits that have unusual, stronger stats. (Which currently would be Unathi Breachers, Redsnouts and Vaurca exoskeletons. No Bunkers or Hunter-Killers yet.) Price is set to allow a faction gear loadout to still be bought with the available TC if nothing else is.

Possible addition of some more modules to the uplink?

Hunter-Killer rigs are designed for/can only be used by the specific Purpose entity, the chassis of which are admin-spawn only, per synth lore here. That said, synth lore (at the time) also said they could potentially be toned down. The former of those two links also has the original Hepht H-K chassis sprites, whether or not that's useful is up to you.

Edit: Could you also add the knockoff NT variant of the breacher?

Anything related to H-Ks would be out of scope here I fear. 

Breachers as a whole have been requested to be removed from being purchasable in this way, due to having very strong armor crew weapons struggle to get through. So I wont add the NT knockoffs for now, though it might be worth making a PR afterwards seeing if the clunky knockoff can be added.

Bunkers have the go-ahead from both human and synth lore "so long as they don't have admin-tier stats". A gear crate for Ceres' Lance is on the table, too, but that's out of scope here and I just figured I'd mention it.

That might actually be a pretty good idea! Ill probably look into making a nerfed bunker suit and ceres kit after this is done.

Might also look into the terminator chassis though thats a bit more iffy.
