Item Name 1: amohdan ritual dagger
Item 1 Function(s): the dagger is dull except for a broken tip that is useless for combat (about 1 damage or so, effectively useless) but has a special description if a tajara with the raskariim faith examines it. It has the special ability that it can be used to cut the user’s hand, bloodying it and allowing the next function, if a raskariim uses it while it is bloodied, they can create a rune of their choice on the floor. This rune is similar to existing occult ones in appearance, though without magic powers. Both cultists and raskariim can recognize it as being not a cult rune.
Item 1 Description: "An old amohdan heirloom dagger. The handle appears to have been repaired with parts from a mrrazhak pistol grip and the edge of the dagger has been dulled to comply with regulations, though the broken tip remains sharp, if useless for fighting."
Extended: "As hunters, priests of Mata'ke often carry daggers with them to skin their kills. These daggers are typically made of silver to emulate Mata'ke's spear and his strength. Older and more valuable daggers have been known to be shipped off-planet during the wars by opportunistic smugglers, with Zephyr Shipping Company having been accused of selling them since its establishment, despite the company vehemently opposing such accusations."
Raskariim: "The amohdan ritual dagger is drawn from the depths of the Maggot's hoard."
Raskariim & bloodied: "The amohdan ritual dagger is drawn from the depths of the Maggot's hoard. The debts are being drawn."

Item Name 2: amohdan dagger sheath
Item 2 Function(s): It is a holster for the dagger above, with unique sprites for sheathed and empty.
Item 2 Description: A leather sheath for an amohdan dagger.
Extended: Same as first item
Raskariim & holstered: “The amohdan dagger sheath holds a treasure from the depths of the Maggot's hoard.”

Why is your character bringing this item to work?: 
In part because she lives here and in part because it is something she uses for when she does her raskariim rituals, which at times she does in maintenance as she can’t get the proper privacy where she lives to do them without risking it being witnessed in some way. She also recently got a roommate which complicates such and is part of why she would not wish to leave it in her room.

How did your character obtain this item?: 
She originally carried fragments of it with her from Adhomai, though her first chance to begin repairing it was when the Horizon stopped by Biesel, and Tulkir managed to get in contact with a raskariim sect there.

What value does this item have to your character, and what story does it tell?:
As a raskariim, who briefly considered redemption and then got dragged back to the faith, it holds a lot of value to Tulkir as it is part of how she prays to Raskara and it would indicate to others that she has gotten deep into the faith. Something one does not just casually leave.

Additional Comments:
This item was cleared with taj lore and I have done the code for it myself. Sprites by RHG.
The dagger is specifically meant to be dull and not combat worthy to both not run afoul of the weapon rule for custom items, and to make it legal to carry around instead of being contraband.
Onmob sprites for the sheath are currently not present but will be made. They’re kinda small though given it is a dagger.
The damage I have in the code atm is set to 1.6 (due to material hardness division), so it should be useless in combat. During testing it was just bruising and I think taj claws are more dangerous.
