Stradfarian Posted May 26 Posted May 26 (edited) BYOND Key: Stradfarian Discord Username: Stradfarian Character Name: Ohturr Qrezmah Item Name: Zirsanuazu Zirmanq Item Function(s): A regular jacket item, with jacket storage and a toggleable open variety. Item Description: Translated as the Imperial Cavalry Coat, this is a woolen coat worn by the members of the NKA's cavalry. Often seen being worn by the rhazar'hrujmagh people of the nomadic host due to their part in the harr'masir offensive, its unique trapezoidal breast allows the wearer to comfortably insert armour plating or simply wear by itself. This one looks to be quite battered, though various repairs have made it still a very hardy and reliable coat. Under the right light, tiny flecks of purple can be seen near the sleeves' cuffs. Why is your character bringing this item to work?: It is a hardy peice of clothing that has been with him for a long time. How did your character obtain this item?: It was part of his uniform when he served in the imperial army. What value does this item have to your character, and what story does it tell?: Ohturr does not have much in the way of possesions. This coat and his medal provide him with at least some familiarity in this strange place he has found himself in, and, thanks to much effort on his behalf, have been with him for all of the several years that he has spent away from his home planet. Its torn and patched material reflects Ohturr's own treatment during his time offworld. Sprites: ohturr_coat.dmi Edited May 27 by Stradfarian minor last minute sprite edit
Fyni Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Hey! First of all - sorry about the delay. We are going to deny this item based on a few points: The character is fairly new, and not been played much at all. The sprite does not meet the standard of spriter we work with for these. This is essentially a generic item with a bit of change. While I'm aware we recently approved a similar item (adhomian military coat with patched damage), that item had a proper backstory behind it, and was also added as a generic item available for all appropriate characters. You're of course welcome to reapply in the future - perhaps with a different item - when these three points are addressed.
