To whom it may concern,

Hello! My name is Hazel #S-H18.4044. I am a Bridge Crewman aboard the SCCV Horizon, the shining jewel of the Conglomerate fleet. During our last official mission, my cooler unit was damaged in the line of duty, && as it was an active combat zone, steps could not be properly made to rectify this situation, leading to a total melt-down of my chassis && severe scrambling of my neurological processes. After a week of active de-fragmentation, I am performing well && above expected parameters. The only limiting factor is the baseline unit which I have been installed inside of at present. As the Subject line implies, I am writing to officially request the expedited delivery of a Hazel® Series 18 or 19 shell.

As I am a domestic android first && foremost, && the crew of the Horizon is both multicultural && largely organic, a friendly face is conducive to increased crew cohesion && productivity. As we are going into the uncharted waters of the Lemurian Sea, teamwork is a must! Luckily, there is no friendlier face than that of the Hazel® line of domestic androids! It is my belief that having a face to respond to (in lieu of the monitor that currently sits atop my frame) would be only a boon to the crew in the coming days! After all, on June 12 we will be entering into a situation with a high possibility of active combat, && the crew must be at the top of their game, so to speak! A cohesive workforce is an efficient workforce, && an efficient workforce is a profitable workforce!

I have served the SCC faithfully as my owners since I was activated on 22 September 2467, && have never strayed from following orders to the letter, as they are given by my betters.  I have successfully aided in no fewer than three active combat scenarios, two of which have gone without loss of life. I have received several formal commendations for my service (available on my personnel file!) && have proven to be a proficient && profitable piece of Conglomerate property! An investment of this nature in myself will prove to only pay dividends in returns, I can assure you that! Thank you for your time!
