Fyni Posted Monday at 21:40 Posted Monday at 21:40 I've had a few people ask me about what's been happening IC for Aurora, particularly with the A Dream for Tomorrow arc, so they can hop in and interact with everything going on! So, I decided to make this post. I however want to add an important thing: this arc has been FULL of tiny things. A lot of mini events introducing characters and ships and dropping bits of lore and clues. I can't do it all justice in one post - but this sums up the key points! Previously, on Aurorastation The Horizon has been accosted by a criminal group calling itself the Outer Eyes who seek to interrupt their mission - to find a potential phoron source in the Lemurian Sea. The Sea is dangerous, and only select safe routes are known to exist - a secret long held by several groups. It's the Horizon's job to find the route down which the Outer Eyes are transporting the very phoron they intend to find. However the Horizon arrived near the Sea to find the Outer Eyes in turmoil from inner conflict. They gather info on the conflict, and get involved across a variety of locals, from the glamorous Starlight Lounge where they lose thousands in a poker game, to Meropis, the largest colony in the area undergoing a revolution against Outer Eyes rule, to Sandbox, a distant and quiet paradise where they get much needed rest. All the while, they get into conflict with pirates and scavs, and bump into numerous other ships on the same mission as them - find phoron. Following a promising lead, the Horizon dives into it's first Lemurian Sea route. At it's end, they find the long lost Maki’i Xau’an, an ancient skrellian generation ship. The ship has been host to a new and terrifying xenofauna - the psirens. The Horizon destroy the Maki, and are heading back to Light's Edge, their first venture into the Sea only revealing more danger... 1
