Overview:
During an expedition in the inner Lemurian Sea, we came across a stricken vessel filled with corpses and entities known as 'Psirens' which are believed to be causing, or caused by, ADPI.
The captain had requested that the Science department attempt to capture one of these specimens, so the department embarked with the expedition to attempt such. 
Victor Jenkins and Felix Jackson were able to trap the Psiren in a metal cage, and later contain it with the assistance of some engineers with a welder in the Intrepid's engine nacelle. Mikhail Petrov assisted by drawing the fire of the Psiren causing substantial but not life threatening injuries whilst Jenkins and Jackson forced it into the cage.
The Psiren was later transported into permanent containment aboard the Horizon where it will undoubtably serve our mission more than anything else could.
It should also be noted that during the expedition, Victor Jenkins was responsible for finding several days worth of supplies that will further our survival and extend the parameters of our mission in the Sea.

Additional Notes:
I cannot understate the importance the task these crew members successfully undertook, and how critical to the mission this was. This action alone has undoubtably pushed us far ahead of our expected timeframe for this mission, and will certainly have effects that resonate across the spur.
