OmegaZip2 Posted Thursday at 21:13 Posted Thursday at 21:13 I believe allowing circuits to interact with machinery could be a great way to make what is a (right now) kind of seperate and isolated system, into just a deeper form of machine building. For example, we currently have a device which can be attached to other devices. As far as I know, this device cannot be attached to any machine; how COOL could it be to use one of these as a sort of pocket hacking tool, attaching it to a door and letting it pulse the wires automatically? Or maybe using it as a keycard. Or even, allowing a slot machine to be connected to a server which stores all the winners and lists them off on a leaderboard, or even announces them on the radio. Or a circuit to handle more complex calculation, like with teleporters, linked up to the console to handle all the work for the scientists. Of course this is AMBITIOUS and *TIME CONSUMING LIKE NO OTHER FEATURE* but I think it could merge the two systems into something that could make circuits go from "those ten crazy designs that help you" to a full sandbox system, which promotes creativity and ingenuity (and fun) instead of just building one or two isolated pre-set designs which do some niche function.
