Sol Common to Ceti Basic

If someone were to recently have moved from Sol to Tau Ceti, would it be unheard of for them to struggle with Ceti Basic, like finding words and things, or are the languages similar enough that swapping isn't too much hassle with lessons and practice?

Well, they would have to be at a level that someone in NanoTrasen would accept. It's one of the most common languages in human populated space, and most people would be able to speak it. There would be SOME struggling, but it wouldn't be at the level of a xeno.
