Why do you wish to play this specific race: Because the implications of being a synthetic yet sentient being amuse and intrigue me, as well as a fascination with mechanical things. I've before had a character that wished to become an AI, and this type of thing would be perfect. I've always enjoyed beings such as the IPC.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Humans need to eat food, whilst IPCs rely on electrical energy. IPCs cannot heal/repair themselves and need others to do so. IPCs were never born, but they were indeed made.(Well, not all the time in the case of certain IPCs.) IPCs are synthetics, and will encounter stigma because of it as well.

Character Name: Axii

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Axii is a Bespoke IPC crafted by Everett Osprii to Honour a deceased friend. The friend had a unique quirk in which she wished to become fully mechanical, hating the flesh she was born and therefor cursed to. That friend died before she could accomplish ridding herself of her flesh, and Everett has missed her since.

Axii is the result of him trying to grant his friend's life-long wish, but without the friend's memories, Axii is lost and uncertain in a world filled with stigma towards her synthetic yet sentient nature. Axii battles with the thought that she once was human, or Is simply a shadow of a person who is inherently better and more complete than she ever will be.

What do you like about this character? I like the cross between my other current character and a previous character of mine, as well as the constant internal struggle that she deals with. I think that she probably will never come to a conclusion, but perhaps acceptance, and moving on will be a great step. I think that every good character should have it's flaws and virtues, and Axii has plenty of both.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? I would say that my roleplaying ability is rather good, but nothing over the top. I try my best reguardless though, and will continue to try to improve as time goes on.
