Guest Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Reporting Personnel: Elena Raschnikova Rank of Reporting Personnel: Captain Personnel Involved: Desiree Green, Fortune Snyder, Garvan Harper Time of Incident: September 19th, ~ 15:20 Location of Incident: Robotics, Escape, Transfer Shuttle Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: During the shift, Roboticist Desiree Green, attempted to construct a Durand mech without even informing myself or Research Director Fortune Snyder prior to the attempt. It was stopped mid-construction and, as a sign of good grace, we (Doctor Snyder and myself) told Doctor Green to confirm with Head of Security Garvin Harper if they are allowed to complete the mech and promptly turn it over to Security. Commander Harper denied under his own reasoning and the unfinished mech was set for deconstruction. However, Doctor Green had to be warned soon after, again, that it had to be deconstructed. Sadly, and to everyone's disdain, Doctor Snyder and me were preoccupied with more pressing concerns that took the entirety of our attention, and thus, had no time to check on the roboticist. During the transfer procedure, Doctor Green had entered the transfer shuttle with a completed Durand and refused to leave it, despite multiple orders from me, Doctor Snyder and Commander Harper to do so. The mech was transffered to Odin with the shuttle with Doctor Green still inside it. Security was withheld from opening fire due to delicate nature of our surrounding. J.D. Raschnikova, Elena Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: No. Additional notes: I accept full responsibility for not demoting the roboticist earlier that shift, as it was more or less justified at that point. With that out of the way, I wish to express frustration over the fact that someone who posses a high level degree in a scientific field can behave in such a childish and borderline idiotic manner.
