Reporting Personnel: Marely Snyder

Rank of Reporting Personnel: Bartender

Personnel Involved: Marely Snyder, Alan Kowaski

Time of Incident: Around 1 hour past the start of shift

Location of Incident: The bar area of the mess hall & inside the bar backroom

Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard [X]Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct []Other _____

Overview of the Incident: I was playing games and having some fun with punpun in the backroom and went to check if anybody was at the counter, Alan was there and asked to "Confess his love" to punpun face to face. I denied since it was weird and left for the back room to go back to punpun. When I go to check if Alan is still there, he is right outside the door and comes in. He supposedly jumped the counter and waited there, and grabbed punpun and said something along the lines of "My love, I will save you!" and took punpun. I then quickly grabbed my shotgun and as he was about to walk out the door I pointed it at him and told him to drop the monkey. I do suppose it was a bit dumb at the time and I didn't plan to even shoot, but a few seconds after he draws his revolver and accidentally shoots the monkey, then moves the already injured monkey out of the way and fires at me. Luckily for me, it only hit the table. He got away and I asked for help over radio but no action was seemed to be taken. Valia said she was on it nothing seemed to happen either

Upon lack of response from Mr Kowaski. This Incident report is being closed. Matters were handled on station.

Please note in future reference. You escalated the petty theft of your mascot into a firefight.

Gun safety 101. DO NOT POINT your firearm at anything you do not INTEND TO KILL. WHETHER OR NOT IT IS LOADED. This also extends to bean bag rounds. The detective in this instance while possibly very sure of the ammo type could not be certain. While the detective's actions were irresponsible against regulation and down right stupid.

YOU acted with what is legally seen as intent to kill with a deadly weapon. The detective firing upon you in response, is classed as legitimate self defense. I suggest you review the need for weapon use in the future or revocation of your firearms license will be needed.
