Add a "Why?" to brig timers

Add a field to the cell timers where officers put in the charges for the person being thrown in the slammer. This is probably much easier than reading records or comments, especially if officers are lazy or all the prisoners are running around in communal and you don't know who's who.

Double points if you don't enable the timer unless it's filled in. Because just typing in "aaaaaaaaaa" for the field is a more sure sign you're bullshitting than leaving it blank.

Triple points if it logs the ID of the officer brigging them for maximum "WHY IS X IN THE BRIG????" rp.

OPTIONAL IF POSSIBLE

Quadrupal points if it also lets you fill in the name of the prisoner but this might be redundant.

Quintuple points if doing all this automatically updates the person's sec records for easiest use.

Sextuple points if it logs if the person was released early, and by whom.

I love this.

It could basically work on a "ticket system".

For the door to actually lock, you have to either get the HoS to use his stamp OR to fill out a piece of paperwork.

If the paperwork is not completely filled, the door doesn't lock.

And so the content of the document is on view in the menu while the prisoner is active, and once the sentence is over BAM the paper pops out with a brig stamp.

The process is meant to be automated as possible and not change or increase the complexity of brigging itself - though I would be extremely pleased if it did print out the page with the information. Though making that paperwork mandatory outside record-keeping is extremely ass.

For the easiest use it should be labeled with the inmate's name and cell. "Cell 2 (Ivana Notrussian)"

It's a good idea, but the problem exists when security personnel don't communicate with eachother. Wouldn't it be more productive to encourage that?

This lets you know who, why, how long, and by whom that someone was brigged. If anything this makes it easier to communicate.
