Guest Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 ...and why am I able to occasionally shoot people positioned around corners? I have the faintest idea mechanically about how it's able to do that, but I've never known why the physics are that way. Quote

When firing/throwing objects on an angle, the shot makes the major adjustment in a nearby tile. You can fire horizontally (or near enough) while right next to cover/a comrade safely, but vertically you need a square of empty space. Blue marked tiles are where someone could be hit by an angled vertical shot, red for horizontal. Basically if you know a gunfight's coming and can get near cover before the enemy turns up, you've got a serious advantage, because you can lean out and shoot him without fear of being hit by return fire. /me arms his tear gas grenade Quote
