KhalidtheGrey Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 I've had the thought for about a year or two now that roboticists (or some flavor of them) should be considered trained in AI psychology and AI handling, including the station AI, and are to be treated as a head of staff when dealing with AIs. Maybe even to be treated above heads and below captain. Either way, loyalty implanting from the word go would likely be a good idea with this sort of thing. Some basis thought/explanation of logic is probably in order. I have a habit of saying ideas without explaining them and just assuming people are going to figure out the thought process and logic of it no problem. Roboticists are proficient to varying degrees in engineering, programming, information technology, and limited aspects of surgery. Some/most/all roboticists should also be, at least minimally, trained in the inner workings of AI and how they think, which would be practically unavoidable as a programmer because being a programmer means learning to think in and understand code, which is the medium for AI thought.
