incognitojesus Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Reporting Personnel: Senri Ishikawa Rank of Reporting Personnel: Medical Doctor Personnel Involved: - Damien Shard, Security Officer Time of Incident: 13:29 Station Time Real time: 11:35 PM EDT AUG 19 2016 Location of Incident:Brig/Central Primary Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [x]Misconduct []Other _____ Overview of the Incident: I administered aid to Dameon Dregon, Station Engineer, who came into the Medbay about twenty minutes into the shift with toxins damage. After reminding Dregon of the No Smoking policy observed in the Medical Bay, I administered five units of dylovene, an anti-toxin used in such situations. A time later, I found myself awake in a welded locker, trapped. I hear some voices, then the locker is unwelded. My hands were bound and Officer Shard is the only person I can see. He says, "Ah, there you are." And proceeds to haul me off to the brig without a further word. Earlier in the shift, all medical personnel were asked to report to the lobby regarding a syringe being injected into Dregon. I told him over comms that I administered dylovene to Dregon and received no reply. When I am brought to the brig, I am told that Dregon is filing a report against me for administering aid without his consent. This entire journey, I'd been asking Shard to untie me from the cable cuffs as this was a demeaning and embarrassing sight and completely without regard. He refused completely and dragged me by my cuffs to the brig. He tried to exercise the fact that I didn't listen when summoned to Medical Bay as reason for his treatment of me, which left me exasperated. I repeatedly told them that I was administering aid, which neither seemed to care for. Even after Dregon stated that he'd rather not file the report anymore, Shard continued to ask if they were going to brig me. Eventually, the warden, Alexander Fletcher, told Shard to let me go. Shard then told me, "Next time, don't ignore security," as if I'd been placed in the locker of my own choosing. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: No, I attempted to broach the issue with the Head of Security at the time, Clement Beach, but he brushed past. Additional notes: This is ludicrous behavior from anyone who would even begin to consider themselves an enforcer of corporate regulations, and is sickening. -
