Arzion Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Stock parts are somewhat smaller items supposed to be built in bulk that are used to upgrade the machineries of the station. The 10-second waiting time for an un-upgraded protolathe fabrication for each stock part is tedious and unnecessarily long. It should be reduced to at most 2 seconds and at least 1 second. Speaking about stock parts, however, to add value to their in-bulk construction, there should be buttons akin to the tg-station-derived fabrication menus, that allow queue-ing 10 instances of the same type with just a button.
SpaceSkeletonVEVO Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Reducing part creation time should be a function of improved protolathe/circuit imprinter parts, if it isn't already. I think that given the existence of a queue system multiple parts per click are unnecessary and would clog the interface. Maybe add the queue list in a frame to the side instead of having it in a separate screen entirely? The exosuit fabricator gets that done nicely.
Surrealistik Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Every production machine should use the Exosuit style interface.
LordFowl Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Binning. Not really necessary in terms of stock parts.
