Why do you wish to play this specific race: I wish to become a Baseline Frame because the character and development seems very interesting. Developing one myself and creating an interesting back story to a complex machine that i s able to communicate with the community and perform functions to help the ship. I also think playing a robot role is a nice fresh start, and a new way to express myself on the station. With also being a fan of the writings of Isaac Asimov the Baseline Form is very intriguing to me.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Many things are different, wether it be simple communications with other player all the way down to complex relationships and friendships that the role wont be able to comprehend. The type of immersion created when interacting with those that you have not seen before creates a realm of mystery and reality that would be very interesting to see!

Character Name: KALTHROP

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs: KALTHROP is bit different from other units. Primary design function to either assist or create in the chemical field. from chemistry to science lab. KALTHROP was programmed to be very helpful and has a no time for nonsense. A cold logical machine that finds the most efficient way to perform its function with out having to take breaks and spend time doing things that will not directly benefit the crew. KALTHROP has been deployed for 5 years and has adapted well to its surroundings. constantly surveying an learning new way in a means to improve functions.

What do you like about this character? I like the sleek design and strength of the character. The way the unit is able to perform under pressure for large amounts of time. I find it interesting the way that bots interact with people. Not responding to jokes or insults. The bots just perform their function, that has always been something that i would like to immerse myself in.

How would you rate your role-playing ability? 9/10

I only glanced at this, but some things to fix are the formatting right off the bat. It also looks like you could elaborate on some of the points here more.

Your application has a few areas where you could have improvement - could you please fix your post so that only the questions are bolded? Having the entire post be bold makes it difficult to read.

You also have a bit of a vague backstory for your character. Who made KALTHROP? Was it an independent robotics group? A dedicated hobbyist? Did they sell KALTHROP to NanoTrasen? Is KALTHROP free? It is a very barebones character - it would be stronger if you thought about where he came from and what his primary department would be on the Aurora.
