Accusing other players of Rape RP. Reason for Appeal: I quite frankly can't entirely remember what I did to get myself permabanned (seeing how this ban was issued about three years ago) apart from the fact that I was quite aware of the fact that my ban was justified. I intentionally went into the server to cause grief and generally just ruin the experience for other players, acting on some random piece of drama (which I can't really recall) that some friends at time had passed on to me. It felt 'appropriate' at the time to take out some of my personal angst and issues at the time on people that had absolutely nothing to do with my own issues, all justified with how some distant friends mentioned (I believe) one of the admins doing something they considered inappropriate. Based on the ban reason stated it seems like I apparently attempted to force Rape RP on someone, something that makes me feel uncomfortable writing out knowing that I'm the one responsible for a change. I'm not really able to comment more on the cause of the ban as mentioned I can't really remember much of the events leading up to it and what followed. All in all I'm quite aware of the fact that what I did was at the least disgusting, quite frankly completely intentional and not within the realm of being considered even remotely acceptable then or even now. I am, however, a more mature person now and in a far better place then I was back then. I'm not going to make any guarantee that I'm actually able to stand up to the promises I'm making, as I feel that my word doesn't carry much weight with the permabanned tag attached to my Byond key. But I would appreciate a chance to give Aurora another try however, and prove that I'm not the toxic and immature asshole I was three years ago.
DatBerry Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Hello, Since the banning staff member quit, I will be handling your appeal, Due to your honesty and straight forward response I've decided to accept your appeal. Though any basic rule violations that hint at attempts to grief will net you a ban (e.g blatant self antagging, sabotaging etc.) I don't expect you to not break any rules from the beginning, but there are things that are easily avoidable, so make sure you read the rules.
