Why do you wish to play this specific race:

I like the appearance and I feel that I can do more roleplay wise with a robot than I could do with a biological organism. I feel like I would have more freedom roleplay wise, and I would make a better fit playing this type of role. I have always admired robots, and would love to play as one.

Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:

The appearance is different, as well as the character being cold and analytical, often referring to itself as this 'unit'. It does not require oxygen, however it DOES require cooling. The IPC is more durable than organic lifeforms, and is not subject to the same limitations a organic species would be. It has its own limitations of course, but that is what makes it fun.

Character Name: P.C.a.S.U.

Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs

Originally designed as a receptionist at Sunshine Haven Permanent Mental Treatment center, P.C.a.S.U. was reprogrammed with some medical capabilities and knowledge at which point it went into the occupation of a nurse.

After several years of fairly successful work, P.C.a.S.U. was purchased by Nanotrasen for work as a psychiatric nurse on the Aurora station

What do you like about this character? I enjoy the concept of being a robotic nurse in the field of psychiatry because it would not have any habits that may be aggravating to a patient. This character idea also appeals to me because it suits my general play style in this style of RP, which is trying to help out without needing to seem to friendly, and not being reasonably able to act angry.

How would you rate your role-playing ability?

Moderate with some tabletop experience
