Overview of the Incident:

We have just arrived to Botany with the other gardener named Zakazany Bojovnik, who was kind enough to take us there swiftly after they awoke from cryostasis, aswe had just arrived from the Odin. The chef, Azsi Akeelanii, was already there and waiting for us to explain what they have done in Botany thus far without having gardeners in the beginning. There was also an Engineer there as well, who was trying to fix the Nutri-Max machine, named Wayne-Parker Wolfridge. As we were talking to one another, the engineer suddenly shocked themselves several times successively, leading to the loss of their hand, and quickly following, death. The human had insulated gloves, but failed to properly use them when manupulating the machinery with a multitool. We had called medical, and a few members of security had arrived.

Officer Katheryn Linerbord had arrived before medical to assess the situation, in which Zakazany Bojovnik was unaware was the officer's duty to do so for a death, telling the officer that they were not needed. Meanwhile, the AI, a few officers who we cannot recall, as well as Micheal who arrived to retrieve the body, were all present. Katheryn proceeded to tell Zakazany that if they are not needed, for the Tajaran to touch the tampered machine that had just caused a death, to prove a point if it was indeed caused by the tampered machine. We did so on the Tajaran's behalf to prevent any more harm to other crewmembers. We had shared PDA messages with the officer when she contacted us, asking about us about reporting of their behavior over the radio, not seeing that they have done any wrong. Although Zakanzany did not wish to press charges, Akeelanii and us deemed the officer's behavio innapropriate and harmful, and after the Chief Engineer had fixed the machine for us, we came to the IAA office to report the behavior.

Actions taken: Katheryn Linerbord had went into cryostorage, so we had filed an Incident Report for it to be further investigated at a later date when convenient for all.

Officer Linerbord went to cryogenics before I was able to talk to them.

I Would like to note Zakazany's passive aggressive and hostile attitude in the work place, having rudely asked an officer to leave a possible crime scene before an investigation was done, and making fun of the dead body and verbally disrespecting it. Triston Zimmer
