-1 I've seen the character switch from cooks, to chemists, to surgeons to atmos techs and he keeps sexually harassing female characters, I can't give someone a +1 who acts like this and from how he acts in OOC I honestly can't tell if it even IS RP.

By the same logic though I shouldn't make the coffee machine because we already have one. At the end of the day the machine and all the drinks inside it are there for RP purposes, it doesn't make sense for a character to openly drink while they're doing their job, on a break sure buuuut if they say "Irished up" their coffee while no-one was looking... The entire point of this machine is for RP, the shit it dispenses isn't anything special, you're right its just another type of coffee but it helps build the world and it helps premote RP, the fact the coffee comes from a machine means most characters will act like it tastes better, the machine itself is a common thing in break room and the gathering ingredients will require interacting with multiple departments meaning you might make some friends along the way. I get there are duplicates and thats fine but they're supposed to taste different there is no meaningful way I can do that because some characters might think it taste better some might not, the point is its a cool thing that'll be there and encourage RP.

So I’ve been trying for ages to get feedback on this sort of thing for ages on pretty much everything, The original coffee idea proposal, Discord, OOC and I have been hitting a brick wall over and over again so this is my last ditch effort to get some feedback and ask you “Please give me what /you/ want” Because if I coded only what I wanted you would hate it. Here is the list of coffee’s I’m working on/have already coded: Black Coffee: Stronger than normal coffee base for all recipes Cafe Au Lait = Black Coffee + Milk: Heals very minor brute damage Russian Coffee = Black Coffee + Vodka: Gets you drunk, heals minor rad damage Irish Coffee = Black Coffee + Whiskey: Gets you drunk Coffee with Lime = Black Coffee + Lime Juice: Heals minor toxins Coffee with Lime? =Cafe Au Lait + Lime Juice: Gives minor toxins ( The lime juice would curdle the milk) Espresso: Black Coffee + Sugar: Makes you jittery but faster won’t last long ( it’ll take a lot to make espresso 10 units of coffee and 10 units of sugar to make 1 unit of Espresso ) Café Cuban Peteo: Espresso + Space Cola: Makes you faster but gives you toxin damage Mocha: Black Coffee + Cream: No idea what to give this one effect wise, maybe heals minor burn? I like your character, I really wouldn't listen to those two very seriously.

This might be all jumbled up and messy I can't think and get the words right ya' know! So I just had a bath and I thought about this point because it is a good point, is there some mistaking of valid criticism going on and why would that be happening. I honestly think its the wording people use, its so needlessly aggressive that people will feel that its a personal attack, I'll be honest I don't really mind tooo much what you say about me I feel I have a very strong sense of self worth and personal identity buuuut I see a lot of that stuff targeted to others and that just sorta' rubs me the wrong way. I guess the best way to counter this would maybe on one side if people ask you to stop or tone it down, tone in down they're uncomfortable for a reason and adding more onto it just makes the situation worse ( Also breaks rule 1 "Don't be a dick" but that's such an objective rule that everything and nothing could break it at the same time ) Annnnd on the other side, Criticism is good it helps us grow and become better, I constantly ask for it on my sprites and other such things I do, even if someone just says: Ask what about it is terrible ask whats wrong with it. The whole Stuttering Medbay Lesbian argument really could of been avoided if we all took those two points. I had this whooooooole thing about the OOC aggresiveness and everything like that but I'm sure it'll be bogged down by: I don't really want to change the rules I just think it would be nice if people could just treat each other with a little bit of respect, maybe not everyone likes having the same joke targeted at them, if they're offended say sorry, and on the other side maybe thats just who they are avoid them if its something you're really not a big fan of and it keeps happening I know I have some people I avoid because of this. Juuuust some thoughts I had to wrap this all up I hope!

Enough, stop. Lucy can have different opinions than you that's fine but do you even look at that you’re saying? You’re attacking someone over and over just because of a character? Just because their opinion is different to you? Maybe you just don’t like them but you’re just proving their original point and my current point. This community has some really toxic people in it, people who will just attack you if they don’t like what you say, no discussion no room to talk to them they just try and Bully you into sharing their views or not talking, Hive and Delta really are showing this off rather well. This is the exact reason why I’ve had so many reservations to join the sprite and coding team, exactly why a bunch of people told me “I shouldn’t play Aurora the player base is terrible”, I like you as people I think you play great characters and you have cheered me up when I was down before. But Hive, Delta seriously You’re just being needlessly mean and frankly and the sad part is this isn’t the first time and you guys aren’t the only ones, I don’t mind the jokes but they go /way/ too far sometimes and then stuff like this happen and I start to wonder if they were jokes at all. Please I know you guys are better than this.

But no-ones talked about their characters all my problems are with the community OOCly It feels like everyone is just skirting around this issue because no-one wants to face it :/
