i personally play as a mouse often, but cmon. no mouse, even domesticated, is able to realise that pointing their hands or nose to an object that is OF IMPORTANCE TO THE CURRENT CONVERSATION IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE THEY DON'T SPEAK will make them know to use it.
also, what 1138 said.

very much yes. this'd create way better RP situation with cult.
it does seem a little short, even with the rest of the round going on...
might i also suggest that in one of the last researches, you gain the ability to see who's a cultist?

ogod i'll have so much fun when if this gets implemented...

Just curious, but why would a Chief Medical Officer wear a scarf while practicing? It just seems impractical, for several reasons.
The one that warrants addressing is the fact that it would compromise the sterility when working with biohazards such as blood, vomit, etc. Doctors don't even wear ties very often because of the bacteria that can cling to it. There's a reason doctors wear labcoats and scrubs.
Oh, and just a minor one, but how would this contribute to roleplay? It just seems cosmetic, and if anybody asked why he has it, I couldn't see it becoming something other than just awkward watercooler chatter.
well ofc he'd not wear it non stop, i mean when doing surgery or something he'd put it in his bag (which kinda defies the purpose honestly).
and, aren't nearly all the custom items just watercooler chatter? everytime i talked about any of them ingame it wasn't really anything else.

Character name: Simon Greene
Item name: Fancy Scarf
Why is your character carrying said item to work? Simon Greene got the scarf from his closest friend while they were on an adventure. Soon after, on the same trip, that friend died in an accident. Since then he's taken the scarf everywhere he goes.
Item function(s): You can wear it. probably ear slot (which means shoulder forsomeraisin).
Item description: "A very smooth, dark blue scarf with a golden trim. Man does it look fancy. It feels really new and clean too."
Item appearance:

How will you use this to better interact with crew and/or stimulate RP? People will ask about the amazingly fancy scarf, so it will create some fun conversations about his adventures with the person he got it from. Plus, it has to do with the exploitable information on Simon, so that creates expanded RP for antagonist when, say, stealing it.
Additional comments: it's bluespace sterile ok? don't question it.

synth's a good player, and probably an A+ synth (why.).

so, the creature ((let's call him the shadow)) basically just REALLY CREEPILY stalks the anchor, keeping them alive, all while doing gimmicks to others?
i rly love this, but it's a little OP imo, as it can only get brute. i suggest that burn damage hurts the shadow ((obv fire hurts a shadow))
EDIT: i saw that it dissapears in light. does that mean it's invisible, or dies?

it's like a shadow silhouet?
it's centered around darkness?
IT SHOULD HAVE NIGHTVISION I GUESS?
I NEED THIS.

Character names: Simon Greene, Nathan Beckett, Edward Fleming, DIO
What times are you available? In GMT: mostly from 1 PM to 7 PM
Do you have any experience with Moderating? Or similar. I haven't had alot of experience on ss13 (tho i always call out people doing stuff wrong), but i have had experience in modding on other things.
Why do you want to be a Duty Officer? To be able to interact with the station, without being there and actually acting inside of it. Or be an extension of the IAA, as acting upon things you could do, that would be bad, but not a direct breach of regulations. ((plus, i heard this is very limited so i have to take the chance))
How well can you handle stress? I can handle stress pretty well. ((CMO, 1 doctor no chemists and more than 3 patients non stop well)) But it sometimes gets too hectic for me to handle, so sometimes i just can't do it anymore.
What does it mean to be a Duty Officer? To act upon any outside things of the station, or some in it. Be it respond to a fax about murdering vox heisters, or sending an announcement regarding the current political views on, vaurca, whoever remembers them.
How active on the forums and server are you? I am very active currently, though i will soon be able to participate a little less ingame, because of school.
Anything else to add?
i'd probably need someone to really show me how it all perfectly works, as i have a problem with learning via reading, so i'd need someone to show it.

I'm pretty sure that you ARE indeed the only one with this...

Thanks for the feedback! And ice not once did you lecture on killing mice with the hatchet, you just screamed about letting then lived. We asked you to leave multiple times. You refused and continue lecturing us about saving mice in the bar and on the radio. Assim lost his patience after telling you directly I was about to lose it. To which he lost it and threw it at you.
you must have not even read me type for the most part, okay.
but the point is, i think someone as unstable that they throw hatchets at people is not capable of being a head.

Also, the hatchet guy got it thrown at him because he spent 20 minutes in the bar pestering about 3 of us. I said to him multiple times Assim has no patience yet he refuses to leave.
Assim is meant to be a easily angered character and over the top, once your his enemy your his enemy, but once your his friend he's loyal, but I'll try tone it down if you wish.
okay, that was more like 10 minutes.
i was not "pestering" you, i was telling you that throwing hatchets everywhere because you see mice is kinda bad.
on another note, when i called you out on having a gun out in the open on code green, you said "try and take it from me".
you also told me you would kill me because i was saying mice are also living.
what kind of officer just tries to murder someone over something like that?
-
oh i remember you! you were the on throwing hatchets everywhere with no good reason...
but seriously, what grey already said, you need to learn more about how to do security.
-1 until i see character improvement.

this would be very nice to have, albeit getting one would be a little tedious after awhile, as you have to get them in robotics.
i noticed most of the arm upgrades are for engineering, maybe add some more variety.
you could also maybe get something for legs, like faster running or maybe even pushing things faster as you kick them away.
-
I've always had a problem with the whole "everything you created dissapears" stuff. This'd create some nice evolution in the station.
-
this was the most amazing thing ever, just everywhere everyone screaming at one person and all random chaos breaking out in the background

Who is this guy?! Oh boy he must really hate fun! -1
"Don't respond to idea's with gif's or single response answers, provide reasons on why you like an idea or not" kk
anyway, the drones have insane storage capacity for many different materials which are easily charged.
they are specifically lawed so there's no RP whatsoever, so you can't be restricted by others. you just play.
they have all access to everything they see, like AI units.
their only real flaw is their weak and can't fight, but i guess you wouldn't like it when someone just randomly bashes you in because you did not talk back to their demands for a luxury suite.
-
i've interacted with alot of your characters, and it was (nearly always) fun times. +1

The key requirement of these three questions is that you "please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each". You've fallen completely flat here, giving a mean of 44 words per answer.
Your answer to what the definition of roleplay is is poorly worded and hard to understand. You seem to be listing ideas, but you're unable to expand on them. Just have a read of the two sentences I've underlined, and try to tell me that that makes sense to you. I've seen the prior comments, which state that you are capable of roleplaying, but you can't quite properly explain to me what the concept of "roleplaying" is without stumbling over your words.
The next two answers are way below average. Look at any other accepted Head of Staff application, and you'll see that they put effort into these answers, because they're the most critical of the lot. You, however, have done the opposite, and decided to skip past them, putting in minimal effort and achieving a grand total of two sentences per answer.
you know, i like consecutive criticism, but i also like being able to write something without every person i show it at first, to test it, say it's good that way, and then when i show it to others have a ton of people saying what you said.
It'd likely be the opposite; Simon actually applying for a job at Nanotrasen.actually i had that at first, but it seemed more interesting if you're scouted.
Desperate situations in SS13 are largely uncanon (I think).have you ever had spiders in a radiation belt, and while treating people you find out that the engine was not set up well so power goes out?

shift click is used to open doors quickly as AI
i think what they were saying was why cyborgs can open doors quickly with that AND also examine and AI can only use that for doors.

this is a new kinda spell i want to suggest, Time Stop.
basically it stops ANY interactions in a certain radius for everything but the caster.
every other player in it can not move, speak or hear anything.
it would last up until 10 seconds, but every action that would normally take time (e.g. uncuffing yourself or surgery) would be instant.
so it's basically a lag spell.
also, the (let's say a circle) area affected might be colored gray, to indicate you don't go there.
Please stop ganking player mice

if you'd see a mouse, why kill it? if it does nothing wrong, why just stomp on it? mice are way different than rats yknow
