  1. So give IAA Sec and Employment, and authorization to seek medical records when it pertains to a case. Like anything, an agent abusing their powers is fuuuuuuuuuucked. Of course, a trusted agent needs less and less paperwork to /wave around/. It's getting easier to manipulate the crew and command the more I play. Not that I do that for the side of evil, I am (ICly), implanted, of course. Mwahaha.
  2. I agree with this. It's one of the reasons the inspection orders I send only say security and employment records, and delegates medical to the medical department. Yeah, I'm fine with that, and it makes sense. BUT THE OTHER THREE THINGS! Haha.
  3. I forgot, request console in IAA office, as well.
  4. It seems to be having a few more options available when buying a laptop as an agent would be very useful. My first shift as an agent, I was tasked by Central (thaaaanks, Sierra) to do an investigation on all command staff, looking into employment records, having them get physicals, and reporting my findings back to CentCom. Half of this was not possible, as there is no console with employment records. The Captain let me use his office, but does the Captain really need to run back to the bridge every time an Agent needs to look something up? Currently, the list of programs installed on an agent's laptop is very small. It's basically an assistant's machine. Arcade, entertainment key. I request more options be made available. Security records, medical records, employment records. I'm not sure what the full array of "apps" available are, but surely IAA is trusted more than an assistant!
  5. Reporting Personnel: Alexia West Rank of Reporting Personnel: Internal Affairs Agent Personnel Involved: Forensic Technician Za'Akaix'Ghul Zo'Ra Security Cadet Red Akenzua Time of Incident: Real time: 10:30pm Eastern 17/02/16) Location of Incident: Unknown Nature of Incident: [x]Workplace Hazard [x]Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [x]Neglect of Duty [x]Harassment [x]Assault [x]Misconduct []Other Overview of the Incident: Cadet Akenzua flashed the Technician, a Vaurca, resulting in eye damage, and stole their sidearm. The technician claims the sidearm had lethal ammunition, but I believe it would be rubber bullets. All the same, those can do damage enough. When detained, Red claimed it was to keep the station safe, as the technician "shot and almost killed" a prisoner in the brig. I did witness spent casings in the brig, however, the "victim" was alive and well on the shuttle, according to what I could gather. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: Head of Security/Acting Captain Additional notes: This was all brought to my attention with five minutes left until the arrival of the crew transfer shuttle, and I was unable to investigate further.

Tried to blame it on a station-bound unit called Starbug. The IPC Surgeon Xinc came and saved Vladimir Vasilenko's life. Vladimir Vasilenko was SSD at the time of discovery. When a warrant was set for their arrest, they attempted a second illegal cybogification on the same victim. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: Head of Security/Acting Captain Additional notes:
  7. Do it do it do it do it do it. Everyone knows Silver's main char - one of the best engineers one the station, and once even became a central role to an event that was taking place. (Amazing freakin' event, too.) I stand by Silver, they're one of the best RPers I've ran across on this server, and they have been /obsessing/ over this race since she learned of them. I'm kind of excited to see how Silver will do as a squashy bug.
  8. Who lied to anyone, please and thank you?
  9. Test concluded - with all of atmospherics and engineering, including the lead-in hallway, waste loop barely even had 400 kPa. It's my assumption the pipe system, which spans the entire station, can hold much much more. Then Aquila got EMP'd and went crazy due to brain damage. Results: Success.
  10. IF I WANTED TO DO IT BY MYSELF WITH NO CHANCE OF THINGS GOING TERRIBLY WRONG, THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA, ONE. BUT YOU'RE TERRIBLE AT THIS~
  11. As she was sitting at her desk filling paperwork one evening, something crawled into Aquila's head. No no, not a cortical borer, she's an IPC. It was an idea. A horribly stupid, wonderful idea. And that day, her need to test atmospheric's true capabilities grew three times it's size. This is the story of how Aquila stole the Auroura's atmosphere. One day, during dead hour, when hardly anyone is on, I would like to drain the entire station of atmospherics, in the purpose of seeing what the system can handle, with specific settings. Primarily the waste loop, as I already have an idea of how robust the distribution system is, when configured properly. The testing would be properly prepared for, of course. Arrivals shuttle would be given a note explaining what is happening, and pizza on tables. Maybe an extra arcade. Dorms would also be sealed, and untouched during testing. Cargo would order enough space capable gear as is necessary to ensure everyone will be safe in a suit, and the large oxygen tanks will be given out, as well as filled. Finally, when everyone is safe, and the two "untouchable" areas are sealed off, I will go down the list and panic syphon everything else, just to see if there's any limitation to what the waste loop can hold. Afterwards, and hopefully before the round ends, I will begin to fill the station back up, and turn the waste loop pump on, taking notes at it's progress at 1, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes if I'm there that long. Obviously, I want admin approval before I do something like this, and am willing to co-ordinate to make sure someone is on when I attempt to do this, if it's approved.
  12. I too support this. There's certain people, when I log in, I just go "Oh thank God." Because when shit hits the fan, I know they can be counted on. Killer is one of those people, at least ICly. I don't know him much, OOCly, as usually when we interact it's because Aquila has gone and gotten herself maimed or blown up. But! Those times are always roleplayed out properly, and I know Sybil will always be there with a tube of nanopaste. I look forward to warble.
  13. I actually somehow forgot to include Max Sharpe as someone in my list of those this complaint is about, but it still applies. I could have sword I went back and edited my first post, but I don't see it anywhere. He was basically he HoS' loyal hound dog, doing everything and anything the HoS said with no willingness to think for himself, and as an officer that's /really/ fuckin' stupid behavior.
  14. Are we still missing the fact that loyalty implanted personnel, the HoS and the Captain, are executing people for pretty much no reason? The HoS murdered the CMO. Do we know why yet? I haven't seen an explanation. The Captain murdered the warden, who happens to be me. I haven't heard a real reason yet. Simply saying something to the effect of "Captain, if this turns out to be something Central didn't send, you're under arrest." Instead of present paperwork or talking with me, he proceeds to gun me down. While 3 people watched. I think my real problem with this is that those involved all think this is acceptable. There's no repentance. More of a "Ok, I got in trouble, so can we drop it now?" Nothing at all about any of this is acceptable. And I would like to note that when I play as HoS West, as I often do, and things hit the level of elevation where I'm carrying around 3 carbines and a laser rifle and my riot shield, I have yet to get even one complaint on me. I think a huge contributing factor is because West follows a system. Ultimatum, timeframe for surrender, warning she is coming after people, and then doing just that. "Get on the ground or II'm going to shoot you in the face." And people get really upset when I count to three and proceed to shoot them in the face. But I don't murder them. I drop them, take them (or have someone take them) to medbay, and then they get to sit in the brig for a while. Not "If this is bullshit you've made up, you will have to answer what will have become war crimes" -shoots her until she dies without a word- But you feel justified in your "rp."
  15. Me too, me too! +1 to this from Nanda.
  16. It's great that you, a singular person, had fun. In a round that you primarily ruined for everyone else? As for CMD, which I can assume is clone memory disorder, thanks to the new cloning policy, you're supposed to tell people they're clones. And this is Alexia's second cloning since that was enacted. I played through the whole "If I am a clone, who am I?" schtick the last time. Alexis knows she's a clone. So when a doctor said "You're a clone, you died." she didn't snap. She first yelled at him for breaking procedure, one her head stopped spinning. She secondly asked the only person on-station she trusted what happened. He was there, and was a witness to your murderboner on the bridge. Officer Krieger. So despite asking someone that was there "Why did I die? WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?" I should still feign ignorance?
  17. Let me correct that for you real fast then.. Elina fires at Alexia> Michael mistakes the sound for Alexia firing at him > Michael shoots Alexia with a war machine's machine gun > Michael shoots Alexia with a war machine's machine gun > Michael shoots Alexia with a war machine's machine gun > Michael shoots Alexia with a war machine's machine gun > Alexia fires back at Michael > Michael shoots Alexia in short burts until she's dead. > None of the FOUR OTHER PEOPLE standing there even react, except for the singular other sane officer, Kieger. And I forgot to mention this in my original post, but my issue with Max is being a mindless sheep doing things just because the HoS said to do them. Calhoun at least went "Wait, yeah, this is stupid." Except I shot him in the face first.
  18. Keinto, I can't even read everything you've written, because you're starting off saying I was accidentally shot. I was shot 5 fucking times, once by a laser, then by the war machine. FOUR FUCKING TIMES. It takes more than a second to fire that thing. Every time I got shot and didn't die, when I got back up, he fired again. How is any of this okay?
  19. BYOND Key: Nandabun Player Byond Key: Unknown, and multiple Staff involved: No responce initially, an hour later Garnascus Reason for complaint: Command and Security far overstepped their bounds and authority during a RP-Revolution round. This complaint is about Michael Thorne, HoS Elina Fenicha, and officer Sharp Max, primarily. I joined the round about 2 hours after start, as warden. I came to the brig to see ALL of engineering arrested. Not a single officer could tell me /why/ they were arrested. Furthermore, they were stripping everyone and putting them in orange. When I demanded answers from the commander, and mind you I was respectful at this time, asking simply why we were deviating from procedure, they only said "Stand down Warden, I'll tell you later." Shortly after, all of the engineering prisoners, uncluding Nasir Ha'Kim, Oliver Stefan and a few others. When I pressed for more information, I was fired, improsoned (essentially for the round, as no one ever came back.) When we escaped (thank God) I was first found by Calhoun, and a laser fight ensued. That's not the problem though. The problem is when the Captain and HoS give commands like "arrest an entire department" and their reason is "Because." Being a head, or even the Captain, does not make you the end-all, be-all. Following heads blindly is also bad. When I kept pressing for information as to what was going on, I was fired, then imprisoned and left with another officer, Aldabert Von Krieger, and were essentially just left there. As the round progressed and security was treating crew worse and worse, Krieger and I broke out, aquired weapons, and hid in maintennce. After a time we ran across Calhoun, as I mentioned before. Since he was fully geared and going after "suspects" (suspects of what?) I opened fire, expecting the same from him. Having superior gear, he won the firefight, and I was taken to medbay. Here's the best part. The Captain agreed to give me the information I was asking for, and to meet him at the bridge. I mentioned even he was not above space law, or procedure, and he would be arrested if this was found out to be unsanctioned by central. He proceeded to shoot me repeatedly with his war mech until I died. The HoS and Officer Max just watched while I was executed for wanting to know why we were murdering crew, arresting them for no reason, and not following procedure at all. I am fucking livid. Approximate Date/Time: 11/03/2015 - 10pm-12am Est
  20. Gives more options instead of "blow dem fucker up!" or "GET DAT FUKKEN DISK!!!!" Nanda like.
  21. Alright, so, Nikov asked me to respond here, he seems to put a lot of stock (And feels others might?) in my view and opinion. Or maybe it's Aquila's approval he wants? Heh. I did grill him on a few things, both ICly and in forum PMs about different scenarios and problem solving. He seemed to have no problem with the enigneering aspect. As far as attitude and leadership goes.. Aquila has been known to attack troublesome crewmates head on, not with words or counsilary solutions, but with a wrench. I say give him the chance, because we can always remove his whitelisting at a later date. But if we never give someone the chance to try, we never know what we might be missing out on, and what wonderfully fun things might come from the experience! Or he could be shit and I'll be lynched for this. Also fun! Heh. Regardless, I give my support of this app.
  22. And I disagree with that. Yes..? You disagree? Can we have some more information? I'd like to hear your view, please.
  23. I made and IPC whitelist application. Later, I made a head of staff whitelist application. This method targetting Tajara would imply I need to make a third whitelist app for Aquila to be able to be CE. My human HoP doesn't have to do this,
  24. I love everyone in this thread and everything about all of this. Thank you guys so much. Even if I don't cross the finish line, your kind words and comments of support mean a freakin' lot! Edit: Incorrect word syntax.
  25. BYOND key: Nandabun Character names: Aquila, Natalie Hallstrom, Alexia West, Harle Shine, Nanda Star, Asterisk Gray, Airaine Small, Bree, Sedarit. How long have you been playing on Aurora?: About six months. I think. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: Why did you come to Aurora?: Have you read the BS12 wiki on the head roles you plan on playing?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplaying is about the experience multiple people can create when coming together and acting. It's multiplayer story crafting, real time. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The Heads of Staff are, ultimately, responsible for the safety and well-being of the crew. Every Head of Staff needs to take it upon themselves to watch out for everyone they can, especially during a crisis situation. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: If you have taken the time and effort, and gone through the steps of getting whitelisted, you are taking added responsibility of knowledge and self-awareness in your surrounding area and fellow players. It means that here, on this station, a Head of Staff is genuinely someone that's worked for their position, and not, as the saying goes, "a bald" that will stab you in the eye with a screwdriver first chance they get. As such, it's almost as if their dedication to the crew and station has been doubled. Please pick one of your characters for this section, and provide well articulated responses to the following questions. Character name: Harle Shine Character age: 32 Please provide a short biography of this character (approx 2 paragraphs): When Harle was very young, her parents were living on a planet side colony. Unfortunately, an overambitious virologist with dreams of conquest developed and released a super virus. Most of the colony was wiped out, and those who survived were very sick for many years. Where some may have given up, it gave Harle determination to become a virologist herself, to place herself in a position to be able to create vaccines and cures to such mad men's schemes. Unfortunately, in her late 20s, Harle had a little accident in her lab. The head virologist was away on an errand, and had tasked his apprentice with cleaning the lab for the day. She trips, sending a flask spiraling, spilling it's contents on the floor. The airborne virus quickly spread through the station she was employed at in a matter of minutes, riding the closed atmospherics lines. Quickly cleaning the spill, Harle covered her accident, and was called on to create a cure. She did so, and was heralded as a hero, having saved the station from whatever eldritch disease she herself had released, praying no one ever found out. Finding this to be a little too much, and way too close a call for comfort, she changed her studies gradually, so as to not raise suspicion, apply for classes and training programs that were more geared for leadership, until finally, at age 32, she applied for a Head of Personnel position at a nearby station. What do you like about this character?: Ironically enough, the accidental release of a virus did happen during a round, and I was able to cover it up and create a cure, no one the wiser. I like that her background, combined with this incident, creates an internal conflict. She's always struggling with falling short of her life's dream, but being terrified of creating a similar situation she survived when she was a child. What do you dislike about this character?: Harle can be a bit naive and trusting, which sometimes leads her into bad situations a more experienced or skeptical staff member might be able to avoid. She likes to believe the best of people, which is probably why she got stabbed in the face by a chef when she was re-assigned as her replacement, once. What do you think makes this character fit to be a head of staff?: Truthfully, Harle herself has no notable qualifications as a head of staff. A bright virologist, her career now stunted and stagnant, the terror of being caught in a lie bigger than her drives her to push herself harder and run further in her efforts. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I believe I am a decent roleplayer, I do have my own unique style and outlook on things, often taking time to stop an action sequence to type out an emote, or chew someone out for something, instead of just silently repairing the station or mechanically performing surgeries left and right. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give myself an 8. Extra notes: N/A
