[Accepted] MissNatcula's Command Application
MissNatcula replied to MissNatcula's topic in Whitelist Applications Archives
I did say I was not going to comment in defense but I think I am now on a particular topic because obviously there is some misinformation/assuming on my characters mental status. I see that people seem to think Lin has mental issues. If you read her medical records; which every would have so idk why people are acting like NO ONE in the middle of hostile space in this universes day an age would not have one, she suffers from DEPRESSION. Her 'anxiety' came from school if you read her records correctly. Thus, since she is no longer in school anymore; obviously, she only suffers from depression due to backstory reasons. Which is treated by her prescription. With combination of therapy; which is filled by a player on station because there is therapist/psychologist position. Her 'suicidal' and 'mental break downs' come from antag rounds. Which are not canon. When she does once and awhile show signs of her depression from lack of regular meds being taken or not having gotten to talk to some one for a long time they are mild. She is not as talkative, withdraw, but in the end she does her job. If you knew anything about my character you'd also know she is fiercely dedicated to NT and the law as well and no matter her 'mental state' she upholds it. Would you as a company literally dismiss a possible HOS that devoted to your company just because they have depression? There is only one, ONE round I can recall that she was heavily depressed on an extended round and she BARELY interacted with anyone so unless you were a ghost floating around its hard to see how you have painted my character in a light of 'mentally unstable suicidal whack job'. Also Aurora is not a military base. People seem to treat it as such. I'm not going to go into detail of some of the outrageous command personal I've seen over the time I've played on this server but Lin having depression is certainly not something that just would strike her from ever getting promoted to HOS. She has been interm HOS several times and people have had no issues with her nor did her depression or any other mental status effect her ability to lead/command. But oh no~, depression and mild showings of it is completely off the table and my character is totally and utterly unable to pass whatever command training but all these other people some how got through. They would for some reason hire extremely temperamental Untati, racist Tajara, tyrant humans, totally uncooperative folk and self experimenting skrells before some one with a minor mental condition. You got be kidding me. Have you seen some of the other characters in command over the time I've played here? Now this is a issue I feel belongs in discussion somewhere else on the forums, not my command app. Now Ornias I'd like to say, you should post the whole scene because you are being highly deceptive in what really happened between your character and Lin. Proven by your cropping to only show Lin in a bad light. You didn't remember any details of what they looked like, their name, nothing about the person that aimed a gun at you other then VERY generic details. Lin asked your character to come with her into the bar to point out the proper man because there was two people behind the bar bartending and SEVERAL people all scattered around the bar that could be any of the people who aimed a shot gun at your character and you refused and pretty much acted nutters that the guy was going to kill you despite an officer was OFFERING to protect you and go with you to PROPERLY arrest the RIGHT suspect and also talk about the situation. Then you said you wanted a officer not on their period after fighting with Lin and refusing to comply at all in her investigation attempts to help your character. This was also after another officer; who was a cadet, before Lin even showed up ALSO tried to assist you if I remember correctly and we were talking on security about you before Lin was even introduced to the situation. But yes, thanks for the worry that my character was more concerned she was insulted then his safety after she literally offered to hand hold him and arrest his offender IF only he complied and pointed out the correct suspect. -
[Accepted] MissNatcula's Command Application

I could shit post about equally bad/worse characters that exist right now in command positions but I'm gonna keep it classy. I'm not even going to post my defence. If admins want to question me they can do so and then I'll post about the criticism stated above. For now, thanks for the support so far guys. -
BYOND key: MissNatcula Character names: Lin Dyslioth How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Over a year. Hard to pin point exact time. Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I think I've demonstrated I'm plenty capable as playing a main warden and through my own characters story progression I think its coming to the time she moves up in her career. I love helping cadets and training them everything about the servers warrant systems, proper ways to approach suspects and also promote rp through it while also training them how to play. I don't see a lot of other people doing this and I know if I make HOS I can train officers to be better as well. I already have so many neat little training exercises to do. I feel like a lot of people already look up to my character for leadership when stuff happens. I know they don't need to listen to me as warden but usually there is no active HOS in my time zone and often I end up helping keep every one together. Why did you come to Aurora?: I originally came to Aurora when Bay announced they would be moving to their new map. I didn't feel like the huge change in rp; from the original format of ss13, so tried out Aurora and fell in love. Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? I got a warning for being a bit salty on a cult round. Had nothing to do with playing my job and more on being forced antag. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplaying is taking the role of some one fictional that you designed and playing out their actions to tell a story. Interacting is done by acting out what your character would do as if writing a book or story. Your character can be as far or close to who you really are however in the end you are playing a character in a otherwise fictional setting opposed to just playing a game where everything you do is what you personally would do and not what a character would do. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The purpose of any command position is to be a leader figure and create a bond/team with your department. You are in charge of ensuring people correctly follow what your department stands for; Director ensuring research gets done, CMO making sure malpractice isn't happening and so forth. I'd like to also think that command staff set an example both in and out of character as new players no doubt will have interaction with command and its good to have people in the position that are willing to help as I feel, they should have a good grasp on the server standards and rules at the point they are whitelisted. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: I think that whitelisted people; as said before, are there to set an example and uphold the standards required of them. I expect to see players with whitelists demonstrate good rp, follow the rules and in general play on a high standard that others hope to achieve themselves. I also think command and other whitelisted roles are there to look out and help those new not turning away new players so easily as others in the department might. We all were new once and when some one looks unsure of what they are doing its always great to approach them friendly in looc and help them out instead of just ahelping them when they inevitably make a mistake left unattended. I've personally helped a lot of new people learn the basic gameplay through teaching them as a cadet both providing IC interaction and looc guidance if they don't understand how a mechanic works. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? Lin is not a political big head or really into the news. She watches what is broadcaster on the networks and is highly susceptible to false information due to her lack of drive to commit herself to researching deeper into news outside of basic outlets. Being some one from Sol and only living in Tau Ceti for about nine years and originally came for school at first the introduction of the new species of Unathi was a bit shocking. To her xeno interaction in general was a bit of a culture shock considering her origin lacked the sight of them for the most part and she only saw them second hand through media. She herself is against the use of cybernetics unless they are needed; such as losing an arm or leg through accident and organic regrowth and cloning is not an option, so when the Aut'Akh first were introduced as a new faction of Unathi she was rather disturbed a person would go through such a procedure willing for how she sees it, religious reasons. Outside of interaction with new species Lin's stand with current events have been quite neutral. Changes in xeno activity have been the main impacts she has noticed greatly yet still leaves herself out of due to a lack of understanding of them. So this all doesn't particularly effect her since she lacks a huge understanding of culture ways to begin with regarding Unathi. The rare time she deals with them in the brig she treats them as any other which often leads her to learning new things about them; such as Aut'Akh can hide tools inside themselves and cell arrangements need to be chosen carefully. Since Nanotrasen has given mass internships to these Unathi Lin has just learned to accept and work with them with little resistance from her part. Since she had began working for the company and is rather devoted to their cause she sees no reason to go out of her way in resisting them. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Mostly HOS for progressing my one and only characters career path. PERHAPS I may play other roles; excluding CE since engineering is the only department I don't know how to play mechanically at all. I have no plans to make other command based characters at the moment. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Well I only have one character, Lin Dyslioth and currently she is a security main and will fittingly progress to head of security. How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I rate myself on the high side. I love to sprinkle in realism in my roleplay. Such as despite my character not being in pain crit I'll often use the rest verb to express pain, shock and fear. I play fair and give antags chances to speak and rp instead of being some one who rushes them mechanically. I also treat the station in a realistic manner where my character is against immediately pulling out lethals from the armory as realistically the station would not actually be under constant threat of traitors, wizards, weird creatures and malfunctioning AI's. I very highly deny AI malfunctions till its very obvious, I act unknowing of traitor PDA pages and have it investigated, I strive to keep unknown life forms alive for research study as I feel a lot of people just jump to killing them opposed to enacting new contact protocol. When I see a vamp on top of some one on the camera I don't instantly jump on the radio saying some one is being attacked, and more of them doing something 'questionable' or 'inappropriate'. I like to give antags a chance especially if I find them very early in the round and play naive often. My character doesn't expect to get jumped, and is roleplayed as such. I strive to play within my characters knowledge. An example would be when robotics makes a really bad ass looking mech; that I totally want to pilot, but since I've decided Lin would not be trained in piloting mechs I stick to this and roleplay needing to be told basic controls and so forth. Some people find this trait annoying and expect other characters to know everything in their department but I stick to my restrictions rather stubbornly. I find having flaws and restriction to your own department realistic. No one person can completely and masterfully do everything. Especially considering her age. I think this should also apply to all command. Every one has something they don't know or understand and thats completely fine. It gives some one else the chance to fill that spot. After all a department is suppose to be like a team. Every one has their specialisations. I also highly enjoy rping emotions. A lot of people I find are quite flat. I like to rp shock after experiencing heavily traumatic experiences. If my character is dealing with personal issues she may stray from her daily routine and in whole making her appear real. A lot of people disagree with this and don't like when my character drops her job and breaks down in tears after watching all of sec get wiped out by mercs but how can you say thats not what would really happen? We are playing people, not robots. A show of emotion really makes a scene more believable. I'm here to entertain some ghosts with A grade acting with spots of badassery when the time calls for it. I hope to bring all this to HOS as quite frankly, HOS' I see currently act like stone cold, security machines. Its impossible to get to know them and what kind of boss is that? Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? I understand this completely. Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yes. Extra notes:

BYOND Key: MissNatcula Game ID: Several that I don't have ID's to. Player Byond Key: Shestrying Staff involved: None. Reason for complaint: I'd like to start off with that I'm done with a lot of the community on aurora in general. I'm constantly treated like garbage ic and ooc for purely ooc hate. I don't know what I did but every day at least once; at least once, I have to deal with some one making a comment ic or getting logs dropped in my DMs about some one talking shit about me. I usually just block them, avoid their character, and act like the better person but this has gottan out of hand and I've had to cryo now because I can't deal with it anymore. I've tried to contact them and being an adult about this but all I got was pretty much nothing out of it. I'd like to start from the beginning so all of you can understand. Shestrying meets my friend. My friend invited them to my discord. We met. Neutral person, nothing wrong and I was actually fine with her. Sometime down the line through IC interacts my character Lin Dyslioth gains reason to no longer like her character; Thea Marietti. Rivalry begins. Starts with Dyslioth just not doing any favors for Thea, avoiding her and harmless things like that. Particular rounds comes along where Dyslioth asks Isemann for one extra pill of her medication to tie her over for the shift because the pills wear out before the shift end. Isemann stats they will ask their CMO. Dyslitoh picks up her medication, notices the lack of the extra pill and just brushes it off as whatever. Its just an extra pill no big deal. Get a message on PDA of Isemann asking if she is addicted to her medication; highly unprofessional and out of no where. So Dyslioth messages the current CMO; Aimee; Thea's former boss and friend, why she was denied the extra pill and that her biochemist unprofessionally accused her of being an addict out of no where. Aimee claims she has 'no legal right' to give her an extra pill; despite she is the CMO and in charge of all patients on station, and doesn't do literally anything about Isemann. So Dyslioth gets angry for obvious reasons. She has a real mental disorder that is now being made fun of and ignored by the CMO so she tells Thea over the radio to tell her 'lover'; whole other story unrelated, to do her job and do something about the clear neglect of duty. Ends up in a fight, Thea threatens to fire Dyslioth, security tells her off and that Thea has no right to fire Dyslioth and a clear issue is being ignored because of bias, unprofessional reasons. Eventually, I let it go. I just decide there is no winning against two command who are best friends. I could have made an IA incident report but its not worth my time honestly. Main point being, Isemann accused Dyslioth of being an addict. Couple of rounds later I encounter Shestrying's new, or other character who is a xenoarcheologist, Lynn Songna. But before we start I'd like to begin with Dyslioth's relationship with another character named Bob. I don't know who plays Bob. I don't remember his last name. So its just Bob. Bob took warden a couple of times and since Dyslioth prefers being warden, obviously when she gets assigned as officer this sorta started a bit of a rivalry. Harmless honestly but looking back I think they got upset oocly about it but thats again, a whole other thing. Anyways, Dyslioth and Bob went back and forth a lot stomping on eachothers feet basically and then one shift Bob said they were asked to go and help with a dig with a researcher; Lynn Songna. Now that was great for Dyslioth because that meant he was out of the brig and out of her hair. So she'd arm with everything he'd need; one rifle, one carbine and one mag of lethal .45. This happened a couple of shifts till one shift while Dyslioth was sitting on the shuttle counting her money. Lynn and Bob were sitting together whispering when suddenly, out of no where, Lynn gets up and approaches Dyslioth and makes a rather rude remark about how there was starving and poor people as if trying to say Dyslioth was greedy and couldn't count her money openly. So. When next shift hit and Bob runs to the armory for another repeat of going out into space Dyslioth says no. She was already doing Bob; who she was rivals with, a favor and now that Lynn was rude to her she saw no reason at all to let Bob take from her armory and also leave the station meaning one less officer on station in case of anything drastic happening. Bob of course gets angry, tells Lynn, then next thing I know Lynn is in the brig lobby screaming and a fight breaks out. As warden its your job to protect, manage and look over both crew and assets of the station. Yes, Lynn's job is a dangerous one when you go out into space. But so is being a miner. So is being a engineer. So is being a officer. So is being A LOT OF THINGS. Issuing a personal bodyguard is selfish, drains resources from the armory and also an officer from the general public. It was a favor. Not a right. But Lynn seems to think its a right and that Dyslioth now is endangering her life and proceeds out into space regardless of many others on the radio; including a miner, saying Lynn should just be careful and not put herself in a situation of harm and that many other xenoarcheologist's do just fine with out any security bodyguard. Then a wizard shows up and ends up hostile; ironic. So while Lynn and Bob do nothing the rest of the round but scream about space bears, worms and carp are killing them while a wizard kills the rest of security actually on station, some civilians and such as. Then Bob and Lynn come back into the picture after being done till the very end of the round after their highly dangerous, irresponsible space walk which they were warned to not even do in the first place. So as the shuttle is taking off Lynn decides to toss in one last insult towards Dyslioth that she is an addict. Hold a damn minute, how would her other character know about the situation between Isemann and Dyslioth? This is when I come to the conclusion that I feel highly metagrudged. Now, I could have make IC reports for both Thea, Aimee and Isemann about the neglect of duty, slander and so forth but I'm not an ass. I don't like being a jerk despite many seem to think I am this horrible, intolerable person ooc. I let so much slide. So. Much. But I've gotten to the point where now I had to leave a round cause people started literally ganging up on Dyslioth because she denied Lynn a personal bodyguard again later. Her character quite literally implied Dyslioth was sucking another officers ****, that Dyslioth is condemning her to death, and pretty much riling up every one over general against Dyslioth. To the point that the HOP came into the brig and ordered Dyslioth to hand over the gun. I cryo'd. I could just make a IC report but this goes beyond IC. This is leaking heavily into ooc and honestly it makes me so sick that when I see her characters on the roaster I think 'oh great now what'. I just want to rp. Not get harassed all shift because I denied her character one little thing and now she is off her rocker and if I do anything against her IC it just ends up in more grief then its worth. Also I can't avoid her character because she screams over general and literally involves the whole station at the beginning of the round when I deny her request. I contacted her on discord between the first shift Dyslioth denied Lynn and the second; which happened today. I tried to act like an adult about it and work things out. Express that I get enough garbage dumped on me and I don't need more from her. She seemed cool before. No issues. But it didn't seem anything I said got through to her since again; today, the same freak out happened to the point of me having to cryo. So here I am. Bring it to the admins attention cause honestly I'm done being bullied ooc and ic. I don't deserve to put up with this and simple blocking, avoiding their character is not an option at this point. Also not to air out the laundry but I'll include my discord conversation with them below as proof of me trying to talk to them and not really getting anything out of it; infact it left me confused since they admitted to metagrudging; from how I read it, and that despite having little to no contact with them they seem to have rather negative view of me, oocly. I've only talked with them on vc a few times and never was it really unpleasant, from my side of things. But two sides to every story I guess. https://ibb.co/N1XyPTg Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? No contact with any admin. Approximate Date/Time: Last week in a whole.

OMG. No. I've played two full rounds and two sorta, half running around looking around rounds and I have to say this is a pile of crap and a mess. It seems rushed, not thought out and totally hinders what I THINK was trying to be achieved. What I THINK was trying to be achieved and many others agree is that security needs to stop sitting around in the brig all round and go and roleplay with others. But why not split up medbay then too? Have 'medical check points' where a in house department is on stand by at all times and the 'cmo' and 'surgeon' sit in the 'medbay' for anything not minor. NO? While why did you do that to security then? It would be the same thing. Now, change 'cmo' to 'hos', 'surgeon' to 'warden' and 'medbay' to 'brig'. You split up security. Ruined communication and forced people into situations that dramatically effect their play style AND character. I could see this MAYBE working if you SLOWLY introduced elements of this change as a whole. Not dump an entire; massive change and expect anything but horrible feed back. I play sec main; Hi I play Lin the warden and like ice frappes, and already have I saw a huge change in my own play style during it all. I no longer can issue gas masks to officers; I can't even mail them because the disposals and mail system is not set up and I also can't go to the check points and deliver them by hand because I don't have access to the check points, I can't communicate to officers at all with out going there in person and no one comes to the brig ever now that they can report and directly to their in department security officer. So I sit on the cameras all round watching disaster and unable to do shit about it. - I see some one getting murdered? Can't tell the department officer looking over it on a secure network. - See the department security officer the one getting murdered? Can't issue another officer to aid with out them having to abandon their own post; if you wanna pull the realistic shit. - Getting killed in my prison by a hostile prisoner? Guess I'll die cause no one has access to help me. At what point did anyone think this was at all balanced or ok to make live even as a test? The cameras in the check points are not even linked to the camera consoles. Its literally the perfect killing spot; ironically, cause no one has access to the camera feed in the check points but maybe the AI. Every round I saw at least one check point busted into but I touch on that later which actually is a sorta good thing. Now I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and give you some simple things that need to be fixed before I continue onto everything wrong. - Cameras need to be linked to the camera viewing list thing - Warden should have access to the check points - Meeting room should be back for HOS use as a place for security to meet up properly - Department officers NEED sec com access - Some sort of basic holding cell right for department officers in case of lack of warden or hos active on small staff shifts - Medbay check point needs to be near the lobby not up in virology isolated. Suggest condensing lobby/emt area to make room. - Department officers need to be listed under security and not misc. It is confusing to find them on high pop rounds. - There needs to be a meeting room spawn for every one so sec has a chance to meet and greet other sec personal at start of round. Now onto everything I personally find crippling and awful about these changes and somethings I do like or could grow to like. Lets start with the roles. There is one role slot for each department then a 'general' officer role. I honestly think this is restricting and garbage. I understand wanting to make officers get out and about but this is not the way to do it. People will fight over those roles and no one wants to be engineering department officer and be forced to hang out in a dead, isolated area all round. Where is the rp being improved in FORCING sec mains to PICK one specific department then FORCING them to remain there cause its the only place they have access to? Security as a whole is a team. Like any other department. They are sec. This has been taken away; completely. The HOS themselves can not even communicate with their own officers. Infact its so bad it almost is like department officers are not even sec anymore. Whats the point of HOS now? Commands personal body guard? Because they can't even command their own department cause half of it is not even on their coms. Even IF department officers were on sec coms its not balanced at all. Every one is saying it. Antags now have to worry every second about a sec officer with FULL ACCESS raining down on their vamp succing. No more luring people into an area you feel safe cause you have access and sec doesn't. ESPECIALLY if you are in a department HIGHLY FAVORED for department officer picking. Like medbay. This effects all gamemodes. No more cult hiding in cargo's warehouse with the cameras cut, no more ninja dropping into research to steal some data with out an officer instantly busting in, no more ling luring people into the psychiatrist's office. Actually, no more rev rounds pretty much cause unless you convince the department officer of your department to jump on board you are getting shut down. The lack of access is disgusting. Sure as a department officer you have access to your department, but you can't get into the brig anymore. No warden? No HOS? Get lost kid cause you locked out. I mean as warden I could not even access the check points. I'm the manager of wares. In charge of ensuring officers have what they need and I can't access their check points. One because the doors I can access wouldn't open and two, some are in the departments I lack access to. Map changes to the brig I didn't mind. I do feel it a tad unrealistic how both the brig and medbay are massively huge for really no reason. I loved how condensed it was and that isolation was across from the cells, interrogation was right next to processing. However. I do think having the meeting room spawn is the best and locker rooms is a must to flow with this. Perhaps move isolation to take up the place where the 'offices' are right now and keep a hall going up and around them to the locker room and meeting room. I've had some good little meeting roleplays and you also get to see every one on duty at the start of shift start. Positive of the 'department' thing is the check points. I've wanted check points FOREVER however I did NOT want them to be forced to be used. I think security should have the option of using the checkpoints if they want. Its a VERY nice place for hanging out as a officer and having options. Also the gear in the lockers are be something antags can try to bust in to for easy; but some what risky, free sec gear. Thats right. OPTIONS and balance. Or officers being assigned to them by the HOS when one is active. I do think they are a tad big and should be condensed down. 3x7 squares is MASSIVE. Should be no bigger then 3x4 max. Also medbay's check point NEEDS to be ground floor near the lobby. The other department checkpoint locations are ok in my honest opinion. I understand that people outside security want to rp with security; I mean we are awesome~, but forcing us to hang out in your departments is not how to get our attention. We rp, a lot. You may not see it but every round I'm rping with officers, and prisoners! You may think we are valid hunting, no rp, dick heads but we look at medbay for example and see the same thing. 'omg look at those medics sitting all in their lobby doing eachothers hair and ignoring every one'. Don't take away my rp buddies. You can always visit the brig for the right, or wrong reasons. Thats my thoughts anyways. The event of its test run now seems over but I wanted to express that yes; a lot of it I didn't like, but some of it can be applied that does improve things in a good way.

1+ Decent dude. Has always roleplayed very lengthy with good emotes and for me, I automatically have respect for. I've seen him rp emotion like fear and stress and it'd be nice to see some one who puts that much effort into their rp as I do. Most HOS' I see show little to no emotion and they are like stone cold machines except for a very select few. I'd be interested to see some one who plays a character that feels real in a command position like HOS.

I don't see how or why you'd think it was a good idea to go with hating security. At the beginning of the round it was only me, Alex Collins; a traitor, and Donwell Clark on as ISD. Clark being a FR and not even a officer and if you rped with him even for a second you'd find out he couldn't hurt a fly even if it'd kill him. Garrett O'Brien didn't clock in till after after the whole situation with Collins and I was in medbay so left only me and Clark as actual ISD that were not traitors. How can you hate on such a low pop department? Low pop in general is NEVER a good idea to go balls to the walls. Collins did, yes, start a fight but he played pretty fair. He could have killed me easy on the bridge when we were bolted into the bridge together but instead he chose to flee and bring the fight to the armory. You? You walked in with a mech and with little to no warning blasted me in the face out of no where. Because I was warden? Especially when my character hadn't done anything wrong to your character. I understand being a traitor gives you a little lee way but to go after and kill some one merely cause their rank despite their show of character is...kinda lame. Also you did help ISD. If you hated ISD so much, why did you help them? Why did you supply my character force gloves and support them? Why did you kill another traitor in the brig, in the armory? Sorry but to me that doesn't make any sense. Especially since you have the upper hand as an RD and had supplies to way stronger guns then anything in the armory. And a mech. You also had the captain ID and could go to places none of us have access to. You could have emptied the armory; you took the emp rifle, and done something way better then start a highly unfair mech vs crew fight. Also in the end you beat my corpse dragging it around while fighting a cyborg then dumped it into disposals to hide the corpse. Or rather, try to I assume.

BYOND Key: missnatculaGame ID: bZi-bxsMPlayer Byond Key: Calion12Staff involved: Shadow7889Reason for complaint: First of all here is the entire log up to where I say in dsay I'm making the report. https://pastebin.com/MA6w0u3V I feel its important to see my side of things since the character Calion12 played had not interacted, at all with mine all shift for the most part. It started off me me not doing much of anything. I was dealing with Collins who was just pissing about. I don't like to valid hunt so even though he pulled a gat gun out at the start of the round, I gave him a fair chance to play it off as a toy and eventually I saw him on the cameras in the captains office. I approached, eventually it let to the armory. Me and Calion12; in a mech, cornered him in the armory and then we have Parker come and remove the door that was bolted and Collins' broke with a emag sealing him in the armory. A fight broke out, I tried to subdue him with Calion12's character and eventually because I don't go lethal right away, got my ass handed to me and fell into crit. Calion12's character then proceeded with fighting with Collins' and from my understand and the noises, killed him with the mech. I was then in surgery for a long long time and in medbay and then went and hunted down the spiders, cleaned up the brig then dealt with another nonrping traitor who came into the brig, broke into the HOS' office then shot up another officer after being told to stop. After we detained him, very minor damage to him, he got kinda pissy and I put him in cryo like he wanted then returned to cleaning. I thanked the engineer for fixing the doors in the armory and then Calion12's character came into the brig and approached me. This was the exchange; Lin Dyslioth says, "Hello sir." Fideal Al'majoree says, "Hello therre." Fideal Al'majoree asks, "Anything noteworrthy orr have things settled down now?" Lin Dyslioth says, "Seems settled." Lin Dyslioth says, "I cleaned up the mess, like nothing happened." Lin Dyslioth says, "So lets all move on." Fideal Al'majoree says, "Well then you'rre rreally not going to like this." Slayer fires the jury-rigged welder-laser! The laser misses Lin Dyslioth narrowly! Slayer fires the jury-rigged welder-laser! And as you can see, he just opens fire at me. I stood there for a second after the first laser missed seeing if he was do anything, maybe rp? but instead was shot right in the face so fled. Then the mech suited Calion12 proceeded on a murder seeking rampage. I went to get the emp rifle, stolen, suited up in armor and took a rifle and tried to get the medbay staff out harms way as the Calion12 was opening fire on every one from what I saw. He blasted at medical staff, cyborgs and security. So I got locked into the brig above my office due to the airlocks and Calion12's character comes in eventually, its dark, I get the jump on him and push him down and steal his laser gun but he just has more weapons and kills me. I ahelp'd cause honestly from my point of view, he had no reason to seek out my specific character like and kill them, drag them around, beat their corpse and over all show a lack of reason or rp behind what they were doing. I was told; [Moderator PM] Shadow7889: They were upset with how the ISD handled things with the crew that were detained. Like excuse me, but if you use the find feature and look up 'Fideal Al'majoree' there is a lack of it in regards of any contact or rp involving my character other then very vague passing comments, or even ISD in general. His character is the one that KILLED Collins', another traitor and the other traitor we detained rambo'd the brig and we detained with out hurting much. HOW is it possible that his character didn't like how we 'handled' things? Considering it was just me and Donwell Clark for a long while before another officer even showed up. So clearly it was mostly against me. The ONLY ISD. Since Clark was not doing anything related to criminals except process contraband. As a player who clearly has at least TWO APP required roles approved I expect better rp and reasoning for traitoring then 'I hate the ISD' cause thats how I saw it. I try REALLY hard to follow space law, not valid hunt, not go to lethals, and even in combat still ROLEPLAY. I have no apps. Something doesn't seem right with this picture.Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation?
