It doesn't happen often. It only happens once in a blue moon. But it happens. (Definition of stealing is taking a book without checking it out, just like a real life library)

As a person who plays librarian a lot (see: A LOT), I came up with some ideas that could expand the librarian job a tiny bit. I know jobs like librarian are probably low on the priority list, but I'm just going to state my ideas anyway. Library Cards: Library cards could be printed out from the library computer by the librarian and issued to crew. It could be flashed just like an ID. Library cards could be one way to get people to visit the library more, and generate some RP as well. Librarian PDA Cartridge: If possible, a PDA cartridge synced to the library computer so the librarian may check on checked out books and how much time left until they are due. This is for if the librarian leaves the library, they can still keep track of checked out books. Ability to track checked out books: Again, if possible, this feature could help librarians find out where overdue books are, or books

Might as well do mine Victoria Benjamin Probably my most well-known character. Obligatory female librarian, usually friendly, it takes a great deal of effort for someone to make her unfriendly. Brianna Benjamin Vicky's younger sister, cargo tech but going to school for biology. Erik Kingsley On the outside, total tough guy. Deep down he's just a big softie but doesn't like showing it. Gentleman A most rather polite IPC, working within the confines of the tavern to concoct most pleasurable beverages for the crew. Paul Bird, III (Paul Bird the Third) A cargo technician who's most afraid of a shadow government that doesn't even exist that he refers to as "them". He's a bit paranoid, but not insane. Ernest "Ernie" Nelson Depressed detective, I've only played as him twice so there's not much backstory to him. Serge White Engineer. Unintentionally insensitive. Sometimes greedy. Samuel Gordon My original character who I don't play much anymore because he's a shitty static stereotypical stoner character.

One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I think it would be a nice change of pace as compared to playing a human, as well as a challenge to my role-playing ability because of how unique IPCs are compared to other races. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: IPCs are different in the fact that they cannot feel emotions. They can however take on personalities, and "emulate" them to the best of their abilities. IPCs require charging via an APC as opposed to eating food. As they are machine, they can never get sick, but they also require a roboticist in order to be repaired. Because they're expensive to make, they must be careful with their bodies, as if they are destroyed, it is expensive to fix. Character Name: Gentleman Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Gentleman was built with a state-of-the-art "formal" personality. Gentlemen was made for a rich family for entertainment and service work. After his master died, homelessness beset Gentleman. The other members of his master's family weren't willing to adopt him due to onset robotic paranoia on their part. After the death of his master, he was bought by Nanotrasen where he spent three years on various space stations working as a server in bars and kitchens. He was recently relocated to the NSS Aurora, where he plans to continue doing service, at least for the time being. He wishes to pursue a new career path in the future. What do you like about this character?: Gentleman's formality has a nice charm to it, and his politeness would make him a pleasant character to be around. I have named the company Aurora Wrestling League. Our headquarters is in Hawaii because why the hell not. I'm starting the game with the max amount of money ($50,000,000), and our style is modern-day WWE style with storylines and all that jazz.
