Reason for Appeal: It has been over a year since my banning from the server. As I've said before, I'm deeply sorry for what happened over the incident and how poorly I conducted myself. It was immature and I paid for it. If the admins would please show a bit of trust and mercy in me, they would not be disapointed. Many don't understand that I do enjoy RP, that the experience of building stories, characters and these overarching plots is so thrilling to me. Its the reason why I play this game and can't get past LRP servers. If the admins would be so kind and please unban me, I'll be very grateful. Its been a year and I've learned lots. This particular server, this one tiny server changed how I viewed character development and the emotional ties we form with the players around us. I realize this is more than just a server but a strong tight-nit community that I disrespected.

Hello again! I'm sure none of you are pleased to hear from me again. But, I'll be brief. Let's get the business stuff out of the way before the official thing, yeah? Listen, I want to come out and say that I am sorry for what I said and did during the player complaint post. It was immature and I should of taken it more seriously. I saw the complaint (at the time) as a joke, and had no intention of taking it seriously as, in the end it is just a game. It was my mistake, and I paid for that. It's now apparent, when it comes to personal misconduct that I should take it on the chin, and look at the complaints people have given and use their complaints to further myself forward. The antag play, was entirely my fault as well. I believe there is an image of me, stating in deadchat after being killed "I had no plan, or story. I just wanted to blow things up." Which, is entirely true. What separates Aurora from other servers, and honestly had me absolutely fascinated in the first place, was the ability to make your OWN goals as an antag. Of course there were cults, and other antags that did indeed have a set goal by the design of the gamemode. But the base traitor? Oh man, now that's legendary. The possibilities are endless. Now, in the beginning I did indeed struggle with the "don't kill people until the round 15-20 minute mark" or whatever it was, however this was rectified and explained to me by one of your staff members and I fixed it. What happened later down the line wasn't that I was blowing things up or robbing the station, was that I had no in universe, character motivation, or reason for doing it. I didn't think, I needed to so long as I made the act of doing it interesting or fun. This was not true, and I realize that now. Aurora in my brief time in SS13 was some of the, and I mean it; hands down best RP and gameplay experiences I've had since the early days of Gmod and my xbox live Halo days, where I'd make machinimas with my friends (that honestly were really bad) I've made actual friends with the people I've met here, real relationships that I do indeed cherish. And all I can ask for, from you the Admins is to allow me to come back to the server and play with them again and resume the fantastic stories that we were ONLY able to build and make with the tools that your coders and admins allowed us to have. I spoken with the individual who had me banned from the server, and had a nice pleasant time with them. All I am asking is for the staff at Aurora is to forgive me and allow me to continue on playing and having a fantastic time on your server. I rarely ever touch forums, as I rarely open up my web browser as I can do most of my work and job from my phone, so I do not get notified of such happenings. The handle was given so I could actually get in contact with individuals who saught to complain, if they were complaining in the first place then they obviously knew or had some semblance of having an idea of what was wrong with my playstyle. By giving them my handle, then we could open up a dialogue about said playstyles causing me to improve. I do not see the issue here, and would like to understand why it is such a bad thing.

I will preface that I do indeed agree with the ban, however. After discussing it a while ago in a VC call with an anonymous friend on the team, it was rather unsual for the post to be closed after one comment from me on the complaint topic. There was no warning or discussing furthermore after my comment, telling people to directly DM me their complaints.

I did take them seriously, after finally being messaged and linked the forum list. As I've said, many times; I gave my discord to the people in the complaint post for they could DM me and allow not just a direct form of criticism but a conversation about said situation.

I want to state that the reason why I did not take the player complaint seriously, was because of the individuals acting on it were doing so in bad faith according to members of the community I have spoken to. Most of the complaints were indeed well founded, however they lacked a greater context to the situations they described. I'd like to note in the complaint, I gave my discord handle and asked everyone to contact me directly so that they could criticize me and I could take it in account.

This is absurd, and completely unjustified in the first place. The context behind those bans do not relfect on the individual I have become. Locking me out of any hope of unappealing will only reinforce the idea of never improving. I respectfully ask you to reconsider this otherwise nuclear option.

I understand the reasoning behind the ban, but not the punoshment. because what I did was wrong and I agree. I have spoken, members of the community and select staff about this issue, there was more than just "you did a bad thing" that went into the reasoning of my ban. I would love to discuss this in detail with members of staff, and how we can come to a conclusion.

Can this be moved to complaints? I simply just want a lowered punishment.

However, a perma ban, not only a perma but the ability to not appeal it in six months is down right unjust in it's truest form. I would of taken any punishment and understood why, because what I did was wrong and did not fit the server. However, after speaking with select members of the community and select staff about this issue, it is clear to me that this was way beyond any simple ban. I'm not requesting a return and lift on a ban, but an easement of the punishment. Evidence/logs/etc: N/A Additional remarks: N/A

If you guys have a complain against me, just DM me on discord CarsonEagle#9618. There we can discuss it directly and cut off the head of the snake. I don't look at the forums at all, so just do it there for the best result.

He travelled around with his the scavengers that found him, helping them reach scrap and items in areas which organic life could not reach. He was not thrown out in Tau Ceti, as he was just thrown out in the garbage wherever his station was. (it doesn't matter where it was, that it just was far away from Tau Ceti) IPCs are different, in that they are created by a mechanic, or scientist, or a craft that requires a great deal of intelligence. They are not "thinking" machines, but rather calculating. Always trying to find the most logical solution to an issue, which is fundamentally impossible for a human to do as we are very emotional creatures. (Which isn't a bad thing)

I have edited the story and that they did salvage all of his parts, and just threw away the husk and his positronic brain. They station was not in Tau Ceti and TB is of course a base line frame, as it would make no sense to invest so much money in just a test bot. TB would either be in security, due to the several combat simulations working as a detective, or in cargo. I have not decided which yet. And his original purpose I intend to keep as a mystery, but if I have to reveal it: It would be that he had no original purpose, because he was simply a test bot to run simple tests, and that his arc will be that of discovering his purpose, learning about it, and that it doesn't matter what his purpose was, what matters is that he can make his own goal and "purpose"

Having such a big limit on my speech, walking, talking and manners would give the setting a lot more flavor. IPCs can look human, they may act it, but they will never be human. Character Name: TB-64 (Test Bot) TB was created by a team of scientists aboard a space station that rested above some far-off magma planetoid light years away from Tau Ceti and Sol. TB's early "life" was spent running through test courses, combat simulations and even mock diplomatic missions. He theorizes what these tests were for, but he has no idea to this day. It eats him up inside and creates a feeling of yearning for that original purpose. He was eventually thrown into the disposals after completing several tests and having most of his parts recycled and reused, such as his power-cell, which he refers to as his "heart". He rotted in a massive trash pile for years, wondering if he passed those test, stuck underneath a massive pile of rubble and bile until scavengers found him amongst the rubble of the now derelict station. Soon enough, he was repaired and had several parts replaced. The two scavengers who found him raised him as if he was their own son, teaching him what it means to live in this crazy universe, and eventually told him about his mysterious origin. He asked the scavengers why he was thrown into the garbage, but none of them could answer his question. Now on a mission to discover the truth behind his creation, TB-64 has traveled to the Tau Ceti sector, signing up to Nanotrasen's new state-of-art facility. In hopes of finding out the truth behind his identity and his purpose in the greater universe. What do you like about this character? The obsession of individuality. He's unique amongst the IPCs (at least he thinks so) and being an individual is the highest privilege a living thing can achieve. It's nice to think about. How would you rate your role-playing ability? Two steps above average. I refuse to write several hundred paragraphs for an action, but I'll /me movements and stuff like that but never something so in-depth.

I want to leave his creation vague for now, as I want that to be discovered as I play him. And yes he is "owned" by the scavengers as he sees them as his parents of the sorts, and he keeps in touch with them when he is able to reach them. He is returning to Nanotrasen to search for answers for his creation, he believes working for and with them will lead to this revelation. Thank you for your input! You've been very helpful.

My griefing was when I was supposed to save someone in space and I took a fire extingusher and drifted past them from what I remembed. Got ahelped and banned for it. I'm far more experienced with the game, it's mechanics and RP standards.
