BurgerBB Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Straight to the point. Monoammonium Phosphate is a new chemical that extinguishes fires better than water. All fire extinguishers now contain this, and can only be refilled via a special extinguisher cartridge. To refill an extinguisher, obtain this cartridge, fill it with the desire reagents, twist the lid on the container to mix it with special aerosol, connect the pointy bit of the cartridge and put it in the hole senpai, and you now have a fire extinguisher filled with whatever. You can fill it with anything you want, assuming you have a cartridge. There are also now extinguisher tanks that are filled with this chemical. They look like water tanks, except they're red. Since reagent container code is a fucking mess, I had to fix it to make this shit work. As an added bonus, you can only splash on harm intent and you can drink from all open containers. Reagent are defined as: Blood Packs, Hypospray, Chemical Dispenser Cartridges, Fryer Baskets, Oven Trays, Droppers, Extinguisher Refill Containers, All Food, Condiment Bottles, All Drinks (Bottles, Cartons), All Beakers, All Bottles, All Buckets, All Paint Buckets, Rags, Solution Trays, Inhaler Cartridges, Autoinhalers, Pills, Spray Bottles, and Syringes. Not all of these listed wil be able to splash or be drank from. Reagent dispensers can now be wrenched open and refilled with anything. They also now work like sinks where it asks if you want to fill the container or empty the container. Reagent dispensers now have their own transfer amount so you can safely transfer reagents. Reagent dispensers are defined as: Acid Dispensers, Beer Kegs, Xuixzi Kegs, Water Coolers, Virus Food Dispensers, Pepper Spray Dispensers, Water Tanks. Extinguisher Tanks, Coolant Tanks, and Cooking Oil. Fuel Tanks are exempt from this change because muh balance. https://github.com/Aurorastation/Aurora.3/pull/4793 PR is here.
BurgerBB Posted May 30, 2018 Author Posted May 30, 2018 Thoughts on removing the ability to suck nutrients out of food using a syringe?
Guest Menown Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 >refillable water tanks Absolute unit. I swear Burger is the second coming. Fix shaking water bottles, while you're at it. It bugs them and prevents them from being filled.
Bauser Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 (edited) Refillable waters tanks +1 Thoughts on removing the ability to suck nutrients out of food using a syringe? Prefer not. (EDIT: I misread.) Yes please. It's kind of silly that the 'substance' of food is treated as some liquid inside the food - rather than the food itself. Edited May 30, 2018 by Guest
Guest Menown Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Refillable waters tanks +1 Thoughts on removing the ability to suck nutrients out of food using a syringe? Prefer not. It's already kind of silly that the 'substance' of food is treated as some liquid inside the food - rather than the food itself. Nutriment exists as a workaround for a mechanical limitation (that being: food can't feed you unless it transfers some chemical into you), so it's better not to legitimize it. I think you need to re-read that. Burger is suggesting removing that ability.
Bauser Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 I misread and thought he was asking about leaving it in. Another +1 for removing that ability.
Saudus Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Yes, god yes, +1. Echoing Menowns second coming thing also.
