Obligatory Sec Gun Replacement Thread

This was discussed heavily by the ISD Discord and most of the active sec players _really_ dont want this.

 

Literally just this. Though it might be entertaining to have one of each, maybe two lockers have e-pistols and two lockers have .45's.


My main issue is currently an EMP will do the following all at once: disable energy weapons, disable comms, disable any cybernetics, disable IPCs and Borgs, blow lights, disable doors, and trigger shutters.


An EMP is currently the only ranged weapon easily available to most antags and security that can instantly disable or kill multiple targets at once. The only real counter to an EMP is ballistics on an organic and now we're removing the only lethal ballistic officers have.
