Basic Information

Byond key: Soultheif96

Character names:

Character Mains:

ORION - A free Baseline IPC Engine Technician who used to be an AI.
Flamel - I love this guy, he is a Bishop Accessory IPC who does medical and scientific research, which are all borderline unethical.
Jacob Philips - An untagged Shell IPC Quartermaster who does things behind the curtain in favor of his crew members in cargo.
Former main: Ryder Philips - A Solarian Pharmacist that has a building ego, planning to send him off later.

Age: 20

Timezone: East Coast Timeframe during Fall to Spring, West Coast Timeframe during Summer.

What times are you most available?: On weekdays, 7:00 PM to 12:00 PM, on weekends, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Experience:

How long have you played SS13?: Around the third week of November, 2018.

How long have you played on Aurora?: Four and a half months.

How active on the forums, discord and/or server are you?: I am active in the the discord channels, but not so much in the forums. I do check the forums for important posts that concern me or other players. I did help medical by suggesting the merge between virology and chemistry, credit to Jackboot.

Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: No, I have not been banned, but I do have two warnings. One was moving out of my character's knowledge. The other was killing a security officer as a vampire without proper escalation.

Have you ever volunteered as moderation staff for any other servers, SS13 or otherwise?: I have not volunteered for any moderation staff. However, I was one of the PvP heads for a guild in World of Warcraft, I forgot the name now since it has been a while I played.

Do you have any other experience that you believe would be relevant to a position in the CCIA?: I doubt that it would be relevant to a position in the CCIA besides correcting players for their behavior before referring them to my supervisions.

Personality

Why do you want to join the CCIA?: I have made observations over players during my time as an AI, and I witnessed what would be a very interesting situation report between the Captain and the HoS, keeping their names for confidentiality. From there, I got interested in the work of what CCIA and IA does. I look ahead of the concept of firing the individual(s), and more into how can they make amends. Perhaps it can help me understand how the station operates from a different perspective.

What do you think are the most important qualities for a CCIA Agent to possess?: Patience, being attentive to the details of the situation given to you, and being an unbiased mediator between two parties. Also, keep OOC separate from IC to prevent conflict between yourself and other players, or you will compromise yourself and likely become biased.

What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is in an ongoing round?: The purpose of a CCIAA is to keep in touch with the command by faxes, reacting responsibly to the situation occurring in the round, and work as either a supporter to the antags (Loyalists in Revolution), or as a opposing factor if the situation has gone out of control (Mercenaries has seized control of the station, or a quarantine is needed if a traitor science released k'ois, I can go on.)

What do you think the purpose of a CCIA Agent is outside of the server?: The purpose of the CCIAA OOC-wise is to help moderate the characters by having an IC effect on them, and keep the story going between the crew affected by CCIA involvement. Given my observation of what occurred between CCIA and the player of question, the player's actions were different afterward. One such scenario was a Research Director who has an injunction to not preform tests on live subjects.

How do you handle stress?: It depends on the scenario I am given that affects my stress. I work fine under pressure due to deadlines. Paperwork is just a fill and double-check to make sure it is properly filled out.

How well do you work autonomously?: It depends on what I am given to work with, I can work well autonomously if I am working with 5 or less people, if more, I may require a second person to make sure all is well.

Additional Notes: Though it may be irrelevant, but through playing my Quartermaster, I have learned the importance of paperwork and why it must be properly written. Besides that, how else would I make a properly forged document that permits cargo to have firearms, that was fun.

Outside that, I rarely cause issues with others ICly, yet. As for my OOC rule breaking, I have been keeping myself in check since.

Thank you for your time.
