When the round is boring, I spend most of my time just exploring maintance with mesons goggles and a flashlight just to pass time, or doing botany in the abandoned botany area, as I still can't understand the appeal of standing in the security desk waiting for something to happen, though I am interested in roleplaying, just not chair RP, which seems to be common whenetever I pass though security to grab stuff or proccess criminals. Anyways, about that specific situation that got me banned. I had found some stuff in maintance, one of them being a clown mask, which I then wore and never really noticed. When there was reports of people turning everyone into stone, I, of course, reported to the situation. When I was there, I was greeted by some sort of magical police? I don't know, it was really confusing. He was trying to look for the magical people turning everyone into stone. I didn't really know how to react to this, so I just sort of played along it. Then, when I realized who was the stone turning people, I just couldn't take it seriously. They were acting like some sort of edgy teens that don't know what they're doing and are emotional. I tried to play along with it, but just couldn't. Then, during a conflict between me and one of the magical people, I was called a "clown" which was when I realized I was wearing that mask the whole time. But I just kept it, because I didn't think continuing to wear it was a bad thing. Then, I was bwoinked. I was asked about the mask, in which I said I didn't think the situation was serious, and felt like some sort of silly thing, in which the mod responded security was going around trying to kill these people. A few seconds after that specific bwoink, I saw one of the stone turners get shot to death by laser weapons, in which I then removed my mask. Then, something came up in real life, and I had to leave, in which I asked if we could talk a few hours later in DMs or BYOND pager, but I was told I was getting banned. In all honesty, I think it's my fault. I never noticed security was walking around trying to murder these people (I ended up figuring out only me and a cadet that tagged along me were the only non-armored security at that moment), and I didn't really know if turning into stone was horryifying or just odd (being turned into stone just tells you feel like rock, no pain, no nothing). I think I should've just ignored that whole conflict or go "fuck this shit im out" and cryo. And regarding the other notes of acting silly, I just felt really bored. I think those notes were gathered when the antags were really boring, or it was extended. If I do get unbanned, im gonna just avoid extended rounds, or cryo if I feel that the round is just way too boring, to avoid doing stupid stuff out of boredom.

Presently, you've lost your ability to appeal and I concur with Prat on this. Appeal denied.
