How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Off and on for about two years

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: To become a professional serious head of staff and to lead my department in a high rp manner.

Why did you come to Aurora?: HRP.

Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:

 

Roleplaying is taking on the mantle of a character and dictating the character’s actions based on the character’s history, personality and the lore of the setting.

 

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

 

To direct their departments, providing a source of leadership that facilitates the actions the department is tasked to do while also teaching new players on how to play their selected roles.

 

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:

 

To facilitate roleplay  and to teach new players. I would run my department in a sensible professional manner striving to ensure the smooth running of my area and by extension the whole station will run smoother. Secondly I will run department drills, training problems for new players alike giving senior staff members a chance to get to know new players.

 

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career?

 

Tau Ceti, controlled by the Republic of Biesel and is heavily tied to the NanoTrasen Corporation to the disagreement of the True Democrat and Social Democrat political parties. I would have a character that hails from the Mendell city, capital of Biesel, and was trained as a surgeon on the planetary level before eventually being hired by the NanoTrasen corporation working on a number of corporate hospital ships before being transferred to the Aurora. This would influence the character by instilling a high degree of protocol to his actions. Encouraging the use of paperwork and interdepartmental training problems.  

 

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?

 

Chief Medical Officer. 

 

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: I would like to run a chief medical officer that runs the medical bay as an actual hospital. I would use my IRL medical experience to write standing orders and protocols of treatment with the end goal making medical a more well oiled machine while also projecting the department outside of its area and facilitating rp with other departments through emergency drills

 

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: 8/10
