Achroknight
Reporting Personnel: Laila CowartJob Title of Reporting Personnel: Station EngineerGame ID: b7K-ctT4 Personnel Involved: - Andrej Wright - Station Engineer: Offender - Alexovich Dyatlov - Station Engineer: Offender - Laila Cowart - Station Engineer: Whitness Secondary Witnesses: - Avery Dawkins - Captain, Were informed of the situations via PDA messaging service and kept up-to-date on the issues. Time of Incident: around 1900 station time Real Time: around 19:40 GMT+2 Location of Incident: Engineering Department - entire NSS Aurora Nature of Incident: [X] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other _____ Overview of the Incident: (General description of the incident, to include as much detail as is deemed necessary) I woke up late from cryosleep on the station. As per usual, I inquired about the status of the station, yet none of my co-workers deemed it necessary to brief me or respond. I immediately noticed on my wrist bound computer that we were producing an unusual amount of energy. over 6000 kilowatts to be exact. In stark contrast to the usual 2000-3000 kilowatts. I investigated further and noticed several atmospheric alarms, unnoticed by the other engineering staff for a prolonged amount of time it would seem. Almost all of those alarms effected the Engine core. The main core chamber, the heaters. Everything. As well as some sublevel maintenance tunnels. I investigated further as to the massive amount of power produced, when I found out, that my co-workers had activated the Tesla engine without any reason to do so and left it unsupervised, while making a disposal chute loop on the surface. Around this time I started to contact the captain about my engineering co-workers failing to respond to do their duties. I then investigated the core area for a source of the breach. as it turned out, a Level-7 biohazard has been forming and eating away a large chunk of terrain and station directly under the main engine core. For some time too it would appear. However, it never reached the Tesla Bay, which was apparent due to a lack of atmospheric alarms in that area. I also checked via cameras on the Tesla Bay before moving to combat the level-7, it was fine. At this point, I impolitely asked my co-workers to respond to the situation at hand, and informed the crew of the level-7 biohazard. One of my co-workers by the name of Andrej Wright announced at this point that they would "turn off" the Tesla engine. I of course informed them, that this wasn't as easily done as he made it sound like, to no answer. Not a minute later, he announce the Tesla Engine breached containment. This information was immediately forwarded by me to the rest of the station. After announcing the breach of containment in the Tesla bay to the rest of the station, I proceeded to vacate the sub-deck to maintain my own life and asses the situation at hand. I was able to make out on the cameras, that several containment shield emitters had been obliterated by the tesla, which made containment more difficult. Especially as there was a level-7 close by, still needing to be combated. I informed the captain a little bit more on the on goings via PDA messaging services, while trying to find out, how the tesla breached containment over radio frequencies from my co-workers. They blamed that the level-7 (located southern of the Tesla bay) managed to cut the power (located northern of the tesla bay) without causing an atmospheric alarm or be visible on cameras. It was around this point evacuation was called, and I told the captain that it was my opinion, that the rescue of the sublevel without better recourses would be futile. Evacuation commenced without any problems. The tesla was not re-contained before the shuttle left the station. Submitted Evidence: None could be collected between discovery and the called evacuation of the Station.Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: Avery Dawkins, CaptainActions taken: A general emergency evacuation of the NSS Aurora was called.Additional Notes: I would like to request that the employment of the offenders be reevaluated or at least that they be demoted to engineering apprentices again.
