Why did you come to Aurora?: I came to Aurora, because it is a HRP server. I was looking for a roleplay server and after having tried out the other options, Aurora stood out to me, because it always has interesting rounds. Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes, I have. Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? No, I have not. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each. Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: Roleplay is basically like acting, because you have to take the role of somebody who you are not, a person that you have created, which means you have to act out everything that the exact person would do based on how they think and what their motivations are. Roleplay should be about complimenting others to ensure that they also enjoy the experience, rather than just roleplaying yourself as a complete badass, while being the only one that is enjoying that particular roleplay situation. Roleplay is also about following the proper rules of RP, such as the rules against metagaming, powergaming and other various nuances. What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is to take care of their department by instructing people and helping out anyone who might be confused or at a loss. A Head of Staff should also try to create roleplaying opportunities that involve as much people as possible. What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?: I believe that whitelisted players should always remain in character and display proper roleplay. They should also be someone that others can look up by instructing others how to do a job, without looking down on anybody that might need help. I plan to do all these things by doing my best to help anybody who might need help, no matter what it might be, even if it is a small thing, because small things add up to big things. Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? The situation currently is related to phoron and it’s shortages which is a problem for a lot of people, because phoron has many uses and is quite needed for all. My character, who will have only recently been employed as a Head of Personnel within NanoTrasen, has not been affected a lot by the shortage, though his new position will mean that he will have to do as much as he can to ensure that everything is running smoothly and that phoron is a big focus, to ensure that the shortage doesn’t drop down to a critical level. What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? I plan on mainly sticking to playing the Head of Personnel. Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.: Gideon Hudson - Head of Personnel How would you rate your own roleplaying?: I’d rate it at around an 8. Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes, I do. Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?
