How long have you been playing on Aurora?: Approximately a year on this account, a bit more on a close friends account.

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?: I want to partake in the events of the Aurora in a command & leader role. 

Why did you come to Aurora?:A front end solution to a back end problem: I like the skrell.

Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?: Yes.

Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they? Yes. I was previously banned from a head of staff role from the friends account, among other situations that i cannot really remember. It’s detailed in my administrative notes. A permanent ban was among them.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

 

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about: It’s a day in, day out situation. A thorough realization of the meta-human persona aboard the Aurora. I think roleplay occurs when a community of people come together, specifically in the context of SS13, and interacts with each other while wearing the skin of a fake alien or human. It gives a chance to act vicariously into the role and character. This interaction between the crew is when roleplay happens. High Roleplay is when this is strictly defined to an immersive setting and interaction field.

 

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?: The heads of staff act as a leadership role to their respective department, and are supposed to act in the best interests of their department. They make sure that proper decorum and directives are followed. They wouldn’t be allowed to be a head of staff if they were not perceived as a cut above the rest. Out of character. In addition, they act as the primary font of knowledge for all players in the department. You shouldn't play an individual department head of staff without having a total knowledge and mastery of the mechanics involved.

 

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:  The primary responsibility of a whitelisted player is to help others learn and master the mechanics, responsibilities and expectations of a high-roleplay environment and the department they are in. Afterwards, they are given the fulcrum that allows maximum leverage to be pushed towards making the unique and interesting head of staff character. Whitelisted players have a responsibility to not make head of staff characters that really shouldn't be a head of staff. It is every citizen's last duty to enter the recycling tanks.

 

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career? Immediately outside of Tau Ceti, Sol burns. The fleet advances, and everything is on the precipice of changing. Nanotrasen has lost it’s cutting edge, Phoron deposits in Tau-Ceti are no longer being found in the same volume, and the Sol Fleet is closing in with swords in hand, intent on taking everything they can and cutting down anyone who stands in the way. Skrell are vibing. Fros'Qerr is impacted by the events with aimmense amount of anxiety: the home and place of educationt hey had been living for over a decade may very well go away.  THey dont know where they will go now, especially since their past disinclines them from trusting the Jargon Federation as a safe place.

 

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted? Chief Medical Officer. Head of Personnel.

 

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.:  Fros’Qerr Vel-Rena, Chief Medical Officer. Hanira Yishu, Head of Personnel (after an adjustment on the name and rework on backstory to fit modern Skrell lore.)

 

How would you rate your own roleplaying?: Pretty good. I endeavour to always improve.

 

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action? Yes.

 

Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles? Yes.

This application is denied. I still don't think you've been back for long enough to justify trusting you with a whitelist. Moreover you have issues with going AFK for extended periods of time, in addition to your slew of notes from years prior. I encourage you to try again in a month or two when you can acquire some good feedback.
