Make the two Investigators an Implied Duo

That's about it. I strongly believe that, rather than give them a tiny office with one desk and two lockers, their tiny office should instead be a two-ways cubicle, each get their computer, and each get their own hat-rack. They're both facing away from each other, or facing at the back of each other's console, too. And one of them could even have, in the spirit of old Forensic Tech/Detective dynamic, have a mismatching asymmetry that hints at one being more CSI related, while the other is old-style gumshoe.

+1, investigation needs kind of a rework. One small office doesn't make sense. Maybe rebuild the investigation lab on the security third deck into a big office and replace the old one with a small recreational area?

I think investigations would benefit from a bit of a rework, but deck 3 is kind of strange in general. I think putting the investigator's office, evidence storage and forensics lab all on the same side could be a good middle ground.

I think at the very least evidence storage should have direct access to the lab. Maybe shift the office to below interrogations and move the briefing room to where the office is now. Then you could move the lab into the briefing room area and connect it to the office and I evidence storage.

Gotta agree with this, especially when it comes to allowing them to lean into one being a detective and one CSI.
