Overview of the Incident: Durinig the shift, an unathi by the name 'bloodclaw' who is a self-proclaimed 'ex-unathi pirate', was spotted in the general crew hallways near medical with a battle-axe. This was an obvious issue, due to their history, and thus I reported a guwan in the hallways with an axe. I may have confused my Unathi history here, as I assumed all Unathi Pirates were simply Guwan as 'bloodclaw' is clearly not an Unathi clan name, but rather an adopted name. And this seemed to cause great offense to the command team present. There was a small debate about whether or not pirates and guwan were equivalent, and the captain along with the operations manager on shift opted to shut the conversation down rather than handle the unathi with contraband.

Shortly after, Keala Nalika randomly opened a chat client with myself telling me to 'shut up' as can be referenced in the chat server. Afterwards, Mister Bloodclaw was granted access to the command channel and proceeded to start saying he heard some 'idris wanker' was complaining about him. When I asked the operations manager to handle her staff, she simply said she was 'not their mother' and didn't know what I wanted her to do. The captain, rather than addressing any of this including the breach of a secure command channel, she simply instructed Bloodclaw to say this in person to myself instead of the command channel, direct quotes can be gathered from communication logs.

Bloodclaw was once again spotted with the battle-axe in the hallway, and I reported this issue once again. The operations manager simply told me my eyes were mistaken and no action was taken to handle her staff by the Operations Manager. Later, she began to complain about another employee with contraband and thus I pointed out her Unathi was still armed in the halls as she was I was simply informed I was not the person she was talking to signifying at this point it was a willful disregard for regulation.

Not too long after that, I spotted Mr. Bloodclaw with the weapon and took a photo for documentation. Mister Nalika found me shortly after and began demanding I surrender the photo to him. Thankfully I carry a locked briefcase, and when I informed him that he should simply keep walking, Mr. Nalika took it upon himself to inform me that I should kill myself. This was thankfully caught on recording. I reported this on the command channel once again and tried to have Miss Wildkins handle her staff, but she simply told me she was 'too busy hiding in the tunnels and was too busy with other issues' after a radiation storm that had passed some minutes prior.

At this point the shift was ending and I informed the command team I would be escalating this issue. No response or attempt to reconcile was offered, and only after did I note the security team moving to try and detain bloodclaw and that the weapon had been quickly abandoned haphazardly in the operations lobby, on the floor, in clear reach of most personnel with access. At this point the captain finally questioned if Bloodclaw's axe had been removed, to which Wildkins replied, "No, because no one had told her to." This is highly concerning as command members are not only meant to be versed in corporate regulations but uphold them as well within their departments in which they are trusted to run. I would give clemency to the Security team as they were in fact preoccupied with other unrelated security issues and are not to blame. But this conduct by the operations team and command staff is incredibly unbecoming and should be rectified quickly to ensure compliance with our SCC guidelines.

Submitted Evidence: Photo x2, Transcript, Faxed Document

Would you like to be personally interviewed?:
[ ] - Yes
[X] - No (Not unless necessary)

Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: The Operations Manager and Captain were made well aware through the shift of the issues and opted to simply take no interest. I understand this was a busy shift with "other issues", and the Captain's attention was likely drawn to multiple places. But the fact they opted not to take any intervention or interest in the proceedings for an entire shift, offer any form of apology, and encourage her staff to further issues in person with corporate representatives is rather poor form.
Actions taken: None. Once all unrelated security incidents were handled, the security team did finally begin to make their way to detain Bloodclaw, however the shift change occured.
