[Denied]Necronyte - IPC Whitelist Application

Recommended Posts

BYOND Key: Necronyte
Character Names: Lemmy Paul and Kevin Garryson
Species you are applying to play: IPC
Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: I have thoroughly read both the wiki's main IPC lore page, and the IPC and Megacorporations lore page. I also read the page on the Trinary Perfection.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question.

Why do you wish to play this specific race:
IPCs seem to be both good in roleplay scenarios, and mechanically, the lore surrounding them is very interesting too along with the different models and types, but one of the aspects I like most is The Trinary Perfection and its aspects, like the Flock, the prototypicalists and heretics. But I must admit, my favourite synthetic faction is the Golden Deep.
Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human:
First major difference is the rights that IPCs have, the unfair and unjust laws that surround them, the ownership permissions, and how the megacorporations treat them. The second major difference is the roleplay opportunities they can have when being antagonists, specially revolutionaries. The third but most important major difference are their mannerisms and how their personality can highly vary depending on their surroundings.
Character Name: M9LV FNBR.
Please provide a short backstory for this character
A baseline model IPC fabricated in Tau Ceti, 2455/09/26, a tag was placed on it, and it was eventually sold to a pretzel fabrication company, its job was quite simple, all it had to do was follow the orders it was told to do, like, cleaning up stains, throwing the trash out, turn off the lights and stay in a corner watching. but eventually, in 2459 it was purchased by the pro synthetic group of The Trinary Perfection, and though it was set free by such group, it eventually left Tau Ceti to reach Beisel in 2461, where it headed to the 14th district of the Mendell City, where it finally joined an intregationist Sect of The Trinary Perfection, going from follower to a priest, though after a year, it eventually switched to the main Prototypicalist sect, where it got a job at the  Nanotrasen corporation, reaching its current location at the SCCV Horizon with the title of priest, becoming a counselor to the crew. Changing its original tag name V9-09182F to M9LV FNBR.
What do you like about this character?
I like various things, its slow evolution, how it could have possibly gone all wrong if something was slightly miscalculated, the fact that most of it lines up, for example getting hired by the Nanotrasen corporation in the Republic of Beisel, where the Nanotrasen Corporation is one of the most influental forces. And the fact it has two final goals, to either get an IPC citizenship or to become a higher rank in the Trinary perfection while staying in the SCCV Horizon. Some simple goals.
How would you rate your role-playing ability?
I would honestly consider myself a seven out of ten, or maybe an eight out of ten if we are optimistic, but yeah, Im slightly better than your average roleplayer, but I wouldn't call myself the best of the best. More like the ''meh'' of the best.

Hi, thanks for applying. The character background is too barebones for this to be accepted, and doesn't meet the 2 paragraph requirement. I would recommend you read some of the other applications to get an idea of the character depth we'd like to see in IPC applications. I would also tell you to read up on the Positronic Brain and the mechanical aspects of how IPCs function in the lore, because you do not mention them here at all.

You can reapply in 3 days.
