Reason of Ban: Releasing a Virus as an Antag Virologest after being told not to.

Reason for Appeal: Well I am not going to try and beat around the bush or sugar coat anything I did, to be completely honest I simply screwed up, What happened is, I had spent over an hour and a half making a virus and was told not to release it before using it as a threat first, Well, I released it and then used the cure as an attempt at leverage instead, The story behind that is I was having a really bad time IRL and that ended up following me onto the server, witch it shouldn't have in the first place also some built up stress from things that had been going on ICly that kind of got to me OOCly...Witch ALSO shouldn't have happened. I realize what I did was wrong and I am honestly trying to make amends here, I have apologized to Doomberg via the byond client chat already, but I would also like to apologize to the rest of staff and the community for my actions as they were uncalled for and wrong. I am truly sorry and would like to have a second chance at being able to have the ability to play as an Antagonist during our rounds on the Aurora, However I will accept whatever verdict that comes out of this appeal.

...why wasn't an antagonist virologist not allowed to release a virus on the station? That makes no sense. That is like... literally their primary weapon. (and easily counter-able if medical has anyone with any chemistry training)

I like Direwolf, and think she''s a great player, definitely thinking what Jamini is though, this was a bad call on the staff-side of things IMO

Agreeing with this. Security rushed her, hasn't made any attempt to fear or panic RP by my understanding, and they got shot. Even with Dire having an antidote they killed her. I enjoyed roleplaying with Dire priorly, a perma ban seems like overly harsh

Well, I don't see why she shouldn't be unbanned.

But after a staff member told her to not do that, she went ahead and did it. That's a no-no.

But, she admitted what she did and apologized.

I would like to note that she was harmbatonned to death by a security officer, after she was handcuffed and down, rather than actually being interrogated so NT can vivisect interrogate her for information.

Let us keep in mind that what IC action was conducted by security following the incident does not absolve anyone of anything and is entirely irrelevant outside of a complaint against the security players in question. The ban was issued due to releasing an extremely deadly virus after explicitly being told not to do so at the time and then lying to staff when confronted about it.

Regardless, this is not an attempt to bury anyone, but to clarify why said ban was issued. I have no problem with the ban being lifted. (Also, this is an antag ban. Not a server ban. FYI.)

I know for a fact they were also warned for atmos greifing as an antag by releasing N20 in the middle of the station, and Ive seen personally they're power gamey as an antag. Like the complaint I made some time back, he was able to break into the captains office, get the spare, gank a borg, steal from the morgue and release laughing gas on the station, all while it was dead hour. I don't know how most of it was done, but the fact he did all that, and the fact he released a virus as an antag after being told not to, makes it really clear the ban is just, I think. Now, I wasn't involved in this incident, at all, but thats just my two cents, if you'll allow.
