Assorted mining QOL

Random mining QOL ideas, feel free to comment if you have more ideas, i've marked priority as genuine like game altering issues facing them atm

When new miners log on to be able to hit a device to ping all active miners anywhere on the map to bring the spark back so they can do their jobs. Sucks to be fucked over because the spark is out of comms range. 

Expedition radio being default on their bounced radios 

(priority) kinetic accelerator damage nerf/safety buff: kinetic accelerators only doing damage to the CENTRAL target while the AOE only breaks ores, makes it 100% safe for mining unless you click yourself, so many people tag themselves with the accelerator and it doesn't need the AOE damage when the best way to handle most simplemobs is melee since you will almost always shoot yourself with the KA when trying to hit eels or reavers presently.

Shuttle manifest on all their PDA types

A stasis bag default in the Spark's stowage. 

Spark airlock air tank starting with like 200 more kpa to help with jamming issues

Mining coin for the drills is objectively best, give the accelerator coin option an actual good KA like one that could be in the warehouse Grade B or a snowflake customizer kit to summon parts for Your Favourite build

(priority) Satchels in pocket auto offloading ores into nearby ore box when they pick up (agonising inventory management please I beg of someone to do this, it slows down workflow by a LOT) 

(priority) conveyor belts jam super fast due to jank code and move like 2 sheets of anything at a time, solution is to put the ore processors where the unloading thing is, and make ore processors automatically drop stacks of ore when processing or please buff belts by like 1000% - atm faster to bypass belts by going through maint and unloading the box right on the processor

distress signal for the spark's transponder so someone can come help when out of comms range. (If it's there I don't know how to turn it on.) 

death alarms as an option for points from mining vendors (grim corporate dystopia, so people actually know when you die)

I believe #1 comes down to and #2 are reasonable, though in my experience the situations where #1 turns into a round where I am not given any work has only happened when the other Miner has died at an away site.

#3 Personally, I don't hit myself with KA blasts when fighting simplemobs quite as much as I used to when I started. Getting cracked by a stray shot has happened before but I can't comment further regarding this as, again, I don't really do it. Backpedaling to engage simple mobs with a KA has worked for me, though I understand if the way the KA functions is changed. I believe if anything that broken feet instantly killing you are more the issue than the KA, as someone who's seen miners almost always killed by that particular injury, as compared to every single other fracture injury.

#4 I am nearly certain is the dev team overlooking the other PDA types on accident.

#5 Could argue takes from medical's job, but I agree with this, especially now that stasis bags are not as powerful as they used to be(they don't last as long?)

#6 I don't know the solution to this, the Spark's airlock has been touched maybe a dozen times since it showed up.

#8 I feel like this would get rid of the purpose of the warp pack or returning to the Horizon for better equipment( Which ICly, doesn't already make alot of sense considering you're getting stuff from a vendor for made up points for doing dangerous work already, so idk). I kind of support this.

#9 I do wish there was a speed up for these.

#11 Dips into the mining vendor, which whatevah, could be a thing I suppose even though by the time you have mining points there is already is better gear to get which you are almost certainly not going to get killed using(most the time).

To be clear all this does is reduce clicks, you still would have to be dragging the crate and have it adjacent, it's just that your mining pouch auto offloads, like it does on every other server with mining. The teleporting of ores to be remotely processed is still objectively superior and worth getting the warp pack, dunno how it invalidates going back at all.

The thermal drill is still ultimate end tier shit and you can get that after 1 moderately ok haul 20-30 minutes into the round and you will be going back for that

For the record, I intend to push for a fix for the Spark airlock woes. Once the map freeze is over I want to make it work identically to the Intrepid, with a separate pressure tank for airlock air supply at a lower pressure, with a pump connecting it to the distro tank rather than a valve. Pressure tanks have insane volume, so more moles, so it should be able to readily survive being forced.
