Species you are applying to play: IPC What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Swag. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Yes. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: I enjoy the variation in role-play style when it comes to playing IPCs. The way they speak and act is very appealing and humorous. It has been a long time since I've been able to play as an IPC, and they are a welcomed change to the tone at which I role-play. The change is something I will gladly welcome. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: Well, as they do not feel actual emotions, they generally react differently to similar circumstances. ((Also, beep-beep-buzz-ping.)) Character Name: Deimos Please provide a short backstory for this character, approximately 2 paragraphs Deimos was manufactured within a military research facility, alongside his brother IPC Phobos. They were originally designed to be used in advanced training exercises, however, due to their exceptional and very literal execution of their programming, they badly wounded those involved in their testing sessions. As this was found to be more destructive than helpful, they were removed from service, and re-designed for a lesser position of simple situational training. Along with their redesign, they had their psyche re-evaluated to be law-bound and righteous programs. During their re-entry into the training position, it was found that the reduction in skill made them unfit for military training duties. Because of their lack of use aboard the facility, they were given the option to work abroad in security detail in order to pay off their debt, and buy their own freedom. What do you like about this character? I enjoy the possibility of being able to play as an IPC, as I once did on another server. This character is planned to be an enjoyable and simple humorous character to add to the security staff, which will hopefully add to the fun of other players on the server as well. Not only is Arssa Vess an amazing character, but there has been some planning done behind it (as there's another application for Phobos by Ryfer).
