Character Feedback - Osisra Devorask

Having played her for a good amount of months by now, I'm wondering how Osisra strikes people. As a character who's designed to be abrasive and an asshole, I try to tone it down a little if I feel like another player's round gets spoiled due to the attack lizard being harsh.

Tell me all about your experiences with her and me! If there are any particular moments that positively or negatively stick with you, I'd love to know those as well so I can play her just that bit more enjoyable for others.

Osisra strikes me as being 100% fueled by coffee and spite, and I love it.

One thing I think helps sell her abrasiveness without actually being directly mean is her "hrmming" and other non verbal grunts.

A very solid "stern but fair" kinda vibe, but a little bit overstepping her place in command time to time, but hey, might be wrong about that one.

Osisra... where do I begin? In the last few months as Ririlsk, I've had a lot of contact with Osisra and the lore behind her clan, and it all points to one thing: she's a great character that adds to both the server and the players on it.

While gruff and more than bit rough to most, she's got a good balance of being just likeable enough to want around and just unlikeable enough to drive conflict. I always enjoy seeing her in the round- and hey, without the Devorask, my own character's arc would've likely not developed as it had. So I can majorly appreciate that!

She's also got a presence that I feel some Command are lacking. While she may occasionally reach beyond what her authority is, she does so in a way that feels right and makes sense, and doesn't do it often. Her presence often drives events during Extended and antag rounds, and her ability to lead is well-needed in the quiet rounds. All in all? A great character.

Thank you both for responding! I do appreciate people pointing out both the goods and the bads. I'm happy to hear the feedback about how people don't feel like she's overbearingly cross or assholish.

And regarding overstepping her place in Command, it's an incredibly fair point to make - yes, I do that a lot, I try not to supersede other heads of staff if they show pushback. What I find is that a lot of people are implicitly acceptant of a Command member calling the shots, especially when things are uncertain, and Osisra's fully the type of character to (ab)use that!
