The_Ill_Fated Posted April 14 Posted April 14 ckey: The_Ill_Fated Reporting Personnel: Andromeda Maschera Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Bartender Game ID: cy7-dde4 Personnel Involved: Andromeda Maschera - Victim Ini Ugonma - Offender Secondary Witnesses: Leonides Montaigne-Ramsteinn - Head of Security, On Duty at the time. Lynn Reyer - Warden, Processed charges. Bava Schoffer - Potential Witness Time of Incident: 09:00 Real Time: 9PMish EST Server Time 04/14/2025 Location of Incident: Bar, Captain’s Office, Security Department Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [X] - Misconduct [ ] - Other Overview of the Incident: During this shift last night, Captain Ugonma requested that a pot of Konyang tea be delivered to her office, early in the shift. I admittedly did not do so immediately, as I was in the process of putting together a price-list for the Bar that the Captain had asked for, but I did begin brewing the tea roughly 5 minutes later. I believe Ms. Bava Schoffer at the very least saw me prepare this pot of tea, and depart to deliver it to the captain’s office, and return. As I did not see the Captain inside, I left the Teapot on a tray, outside of their door. I did not alert the Captain of such, as I became distracted with someone talking to me. Roughly 20 minutes later, the Captain and Head of Security entered the Bar, and asked about the Tea. I informed them I left it outside, but then made another container of tea, and hand-delivered it onto the Captain’s desk at this point. She asked me about the first pot, at which point I supposed that someone had stolen it. She seemed irritated with that answer, but allowed me to leave at that point. Following this, the Captain had security thoroughly search the Horizon, as well as question me regarding the Tea, what the pot looked like, and where I left it. I’d also overheard that Security had detained an IPC in regards to this. Later in the shift, Security produced a warrant, detained me and escorted me to the Brig for questioning, where I fully explained all of this. At that time, Ms. Reyer stated she believed these charges were hearsay, and wouldn’t proceed, and attempted to release me. However the captain insisted, without any evidence, that I had ‘Trespassed’ and ‘Failed to obey a legitimate Order’ incorrectly fined me 700 Credits, before later returning 200 credits as the fine was ‘only’ supposed to be 500 Bieselite Credits. In my opinion, this seems to be a gross waste of SCC effort, and funds with no evidence, or substance behind it, because Captain Ugonma felt mildly inconvenienced by the theft of her tea, when she was unable to find the perpetrator, she labeled me as the scapegoat. This is hardly the standard of excellence that I believe’s appropriate for an SCC official of that seniority. Submitted Evidence: N/A - witness testimony only Would you like to be personally interviewed? [X] - Yes [ ] - No Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why? No, the majority of on-duty heads of staff were complicit in this misconduct. Actions taken: Beyond my spoken protest, I was unable to do anything further to attempt to address this misconduct, due to the personnel involved. Additional Notes: N/A Quote
