A stupid little topic that came up in general that could be fun to expand on. So...

I have a couple of playlists dedicated to a few characters, but I've generally only imagined a few songs when it comes to themes for them. Like...

Nietzschka:

Spoiler

Sunday Summer (Neutral) and Luciferians/Dominate (Hostile) (and Gone Guru when with Apostate. I also thought about animating Somewhere I Belong with her in it, espy for NBT2). Uncategorized is Anonymous and Sybilla and Death Approaching The Girl

Kira Vazquez:

Spoiler

Without You (Neutral) and Good Life/Death Wish (Hostile; I also thought about putting together a mock-up for a fighting game where Good Life is Kira's trailer theme. BTW elite ball knowledge is that she'd use a baseball bat if she were in a fighting game. Also I miss LVS man, she suggested I Bombed Korea for Kira which was really good too)

Ungnyeo:

Spoiler

UPPERS AND CHEAP LOVE/Lovesick (Neutral; see also Natural and Love Taste/This Hurts for her normal and more nuts sides respectively) and Yakisoba (Hostile; see also a fuckton of other sewerslvt and Cynthoni and Type R tracks. I'd also link Corset Theme from Panty And Stocking here but the album art is pretty erotic and I don't want to be smacked for it.)

...and whenever I play my Imperial priestess (Svetlana Tvrglavac) I listen to Keygen Church and especially Tenebre Rosse Sangue.

Characters I like but have no idea what to use for their theme would be GEVURAH, Zsokuzi Gawgaryn, and Kasa'an Drek'za.

I've shared with a few people that music is how I come up with character concepts. There's not a character I play that doesn't have an accompanying playlist, and many of them have core songs that I heard as I came up with them. For Lynn their 'origin' song is Big Houses by Squalloscope. It's a slower indie-folk song about a person realizing they don't believe in the faith they used to, but they don't want to lose the relationships formed as part of that faith. Along that same theme is Transcendentium Pt 1: Zoroastrian by Eidola. It has a slower start, but they're a post-hardcore band so it picks up with that sound shortly in. The song is about a person examining each faith and taking from them things that they believe are unifying and tossing aside things they believe are divisive in an attempt to find unity with all living beings. For the last of this short list of Lynn's musical themes - exploring their self-hatred, anger at the things they feel like they have to do for their family, and disgust with themself and everyone else (Evil Reyer) it's No Weapon Formed Shall Prosper again by Eidola. This album is heavy in genre so be warned it's going to start up loud if you decide to give that a listen. That song is about a person expressing their frustration that the people around them don't seem to see the corruption, chaos, and ruin they're causing;, and arriving at the conclusion that everyone deserves only destruction. Likewise in the song there's a call to the good within that same person that they're worthy of being saved and thus so is everyone else.
